I was at this game. Tony Boles, Jarrod Bunch, and Leroy Hoard ran the ball down their throats! 🏈 Bo was grinning ear to ear after the game!

Bo was correct. The official was quite in the wrong. You have a full 3 seconds to remove the 12th player and the flag went in the air the moment the ref saw the player come onto the field.

Thanks this video. It kinda reminds me of the history of the school and part of the reason why I currently attend. Anyway, I hope to see more.

Yep, he sure did represent everything about U of M. Like the sexual abuse going on, that he (himself) did nothing about. Kept quiet about it, all those years. No different than Joe Paterno. But hey, it's no big deal to Michigan. They made all that money, during Bo's tenure, it all got swept under the rug. Just right for that cesspool called the University of Michigan.

because the michigan ohio state game was the national championship. That game took so much out of those two teams that the winner would not have as much focus for the bowl game. they didn't take the bowl games as seriously. and the 1997 michigan defense was one of the best defenses of all time. They were impossible to run on. They were michigan for heaven's sake.

During those years, Bo let Gary Moeller run the offense. And when Mo took over, he used to get those substitution flags all the time. In fact, I think it was Dick Vermel who pointed it out on the broadcasts, and the rules gurus, changed it. Michigan, and pro style passing offensive teams have been getting flagged ever since.

89 or 90, I went to see Michigan at Northwestern. Michigan had a 4th and 1, and Bo called the team over. He told them if they don't get that 1 yard, DON'T COMEBACK TO THE SIDELINE! They didn't get it, and the whole offense, walked to the other end of the bench, and Bo put the backups in. I could hear him as clear as day from those NU sidelines. But I did leave out the colorful $5 words, as I told this story. Bo didn't care for the zebras too much did he? The Rose Bowl refs got him in 90!GO BLUE!
