You couldn’t be more wrong. The UFC is an entertainment business, high characters don’t sell even close to aggressive proven fighters. Bo’s strategy of going up tiny increments doesn’t sell anything.

It’s not about being tough enough to tank a hit, it’s about seeing how he’ll perform while hurt. It’s easy to look good while destroying someone that can’t hurt you but being able to comeback from being hurt shows skill and grit.

Bo has only had 5 fights total and 2 of those in the UFC. All the people youre talking about had many more fights and years of training all aspects of MMA. Id like to see Bo get the jump and like his confidence, but i understand why the UFC is slow rolling it.

Bo could have picked a better opponent if he wanted Khamzat next though. It's a huge leap for Bo to go from Brundage to Khamzat and a huge step down for Khamzat to go from Whitaker to Bo who's still Unranked. If he wanted Khamzat next he should be fighting Vettori right now not Brundage

I do REALLY want to see him vs Khamzat.

Imagine fighting Gilbert Burns and Usman, winning both, then having to fight Whittaker, and then being asked to fight an unranked guy before the belt. What?

I kind of didn’t like Bo too much at first but he’s grown on me. He’s not cocky at all, he’s just confident and we need USA to take over MMA. As a former Vet I love my 2 favorites are Alex and Olivera but let’s go Bo!

Dc what do u think about coach retiring? Would be cool if u did a little piece on his legacy both as a competitor and a coach and any cool behind the scene stories you have. It’s not soley that Bo is fighting on the main card that ppl have an issue with. It’s that he is fighting a can on the main card. If Bo was fighting a top 15 guy or another big prospect (ex: Ikram) there would be less criticism. I think he should be fighting a good an opponent on the main card or fight a can on the prelim.

It is like saying who did Max Holloway beat to get a fight against Justin Gaethi lol. You can get a top ranked opponent of upper weight class when you yourself are a top ranked fighter 🤡

This is why Bo is getting hate (besides being arrogant but honestly that's not a big deal in MMA): He wants fights that 'make sense' given his very short record, which is fair enough, BUT he only wants those low level match ups on the biggest stage ("Of course I'm gonna b the main event!" and "I will be champion", etc. etc.) - You can't have it both ways dude; if you want people to respect you fighting on a main card, then you need to fight someone legitimate, if you're not experienced enough for that then leave the UFC or fight on the prelims.
