(0:50) Bo shares memories of the two iconic touchdowns he scored as a rookie vs. the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football, including famously running over Brian “The Boz” Bosworth at the goal line.     The younger generation has some good players but they will never understand the greatness of players like Bo Jackson, Deon Sanders, and Michael Jordan. Pure athletic talent and competitive spirit. I hate Bo hurt himself because we can only speculate how great he could be. I feel fortunate to be able to witness it in real life.

    There are a lot of great athletes but non with as many natural skill sets as him. Nobody who is 225lbs. Can run a 40 in 4.13 and hit 480 ft home runs, throw a absolute laser right on the money to home plate from the warning track.and nobody walks off the diamond straight into pro football no training camp no pre season and is hands down the best RB in the league. Nobody will ever be like him again in our lifetime.

    He was my childhood hero and the reason I grew up a Raiders fan. Then you add in the rest of the team and they were awesome. He is one of the greatest to ever play and it was a truly sad day when he destroyed his hip.

    It’s VERY SAD that Bo’s career was cut short by a hip injury! One can only imagine the number of records he would have broken if he had continued to be HEALTHY! THE BEST ATHLETE EVER!

    One of the saddest things I've ever seen was when he tried to continue baseball after his injury and watching him try to run. To see such a strong, talented man attempt to do what his mind told him to do but, watch his body say no was heartbreaking.

    @JedirieFTW that injury was insane, Bo explains how because of the way he was Tackled from behind, he pulled his hip out of the socket and tore and artery. And he just got up and walked it off. JESUS Christ! It's as much a Shame as has ever happened in sports. The Sports World was greatly cheated out of what could have been the first person to go into the football and baseball HOF. Not to mention that Bo is nothing short of being a great person not just athlete. Bo is that rare human, that the stories never need to be embellished and often don't do them justice.

    I'm 41 years old. I was 12 when Bo hurt his hip. Of all the athletes in this world, this is the one man I want to meet. He's humble and he has old school class. I will always look up to this man What a star!!!

    Same. I got to see him in 91 or 92. I didn't care for baseball because I was 10 or 11, but I sure knew of Bo. My dad always talked him up, I just watched him the whole time

    Every kid I knew back then had the iconic “Bo Knows,” poster with him in shoulder pads holding the baseball bat. EVERYONE! What a tragedy it was to have his career cut short. What an amazing athlete he was.

    Bo knows humility. He is a personal inspiration to me and my children will know Bo, because his legend grows in our house to this day.

    Bo Jackson was electrifying to watch. My favorite player of all time. Thanks Bo for the memories. You definitely did the right way. You brought it every time I saw you in a game live.     He threw someone out at home from the warning track in left field in the air. Most incredible throw I ever saw. And, by the way, he was a great running back too.

    There’s a video of Bo explaining to a child who he is and what accomplishments he had back in the day. It’s equally heartwarming and humbling to see his character.

    I saw Bo hit a homerun in the ninth inning with the bases loaded to win the game at Angel stadium when I was about 12 years old. We screamed and yelled. He hadn't played the whole game, they brought him out for that play. We got free baseball card books that night. I still have mine. It holds all of my bo Jackson cards (and two Michael Jordan: white Sox cards). Thank you for the inspiration Bo

    Ditto to Charles. I am 65 years old and hands down Bo Jackson is the most exciting and explosive athlete I have ever seen. Keep in mind I was an avid bulls fan in the 90s and watched Jordan play every night
