I thought it was a great fun interview. She’s very much a free spirit who’s clearly not fond of city life. IMO, she was independent and assertive, but also seems really kind. It was fun to watch.

Incredible charm and beauty has its advantages- Bo's likability factor is off the charts here.

Enjoyed this interview. Bo Derek is sincere and candid, especially when talking about Hollywood, describing it as ugly and going onto to say that she is very fortunate. It is a breath of fresh air to see this. It was good of Dave apologising for his goofing around. She didn't appeared to be frazzled. She is a class act. Imagine if it was Jimmy Fallon doing the interview, he would be giggling non-stop.😀

Given that he was 5 when "10" came out, that's about right.

Carson ran circles around Letterman as an interviewer. Johnny was respectful to his guests, funny, and never boring. Dave could sometimes be a horse’s ass.

Eh I know some brilliant/successful people people who didnt show up for a day of high school. Maybe its a California thing. Not even rare to drop out of HS, wait a few years and go to college. Los Angeles high schools are a place to keep kids off the street. Not much serious learning going on, not much keeping track of whose still enrolled. I dropped out after 1 week, started hanging around the local city college, ended up graduating from an Ivy League.

Dave was extremely patient with her. She's vapid.

Who forgets the name of their high school! She's lucky Hollywood snapped her up given this interview suggests she's the kind of high school dropout that would struggle to name the state they live in.

Your high school writing is wrong. You write "their" and "they" where the proper terms are "his or her" and "he or she." i.e. "Who forgets the name of his or her high school!" Plus, that is a question so you should have written it "Who forgets the name of his or her high school?" Bo Derek made better use of her time out of high school than you did IN high school.

Sadly she i a big of a "bubble head".....or seemed a lot more "dimwitted" then....oddly "less" in "recent years/interviews"....also ODD to find out decades later she is so tiny at just under 5'2. I always thought she wa just udner 6'.....the one time i reget having internet access (so i couldn't loook up her height)....realize she achieved fame in the late 70's or early 80's..pre-internet...and maybe at the infancy of the net...when Google was't realy a thing yet... Google's become such a powerful "research" tool....so muc hinfo can be found if you know how to "ask"....and credible sources oo (mixed with those that arent't of cuorse)...
