Thanks so much! It’s a wonderful car.
My '04 Z4 needed new rear springs at about 70k miles. Apparently they're a pretty common issue. The springs themselves are color coded depending on model trim level & suspension spec'd. When in doubt, consult BMW Vin decoder.👍

I am not surprised that this is an issue because the suspension is so stiff. It’s perfect for smooth new roads, but it takes a beating on degraded roads.
