@@siddhantnayak7120 I’m taking 16L for 100km if I’m only on streets and 14.5L for 100km if highways and streets.

@Kzn Nzn he has either 4.4 or 4.8 gas. The 3.0 diesel has average combined consumption about 8.5-9 liters of diesel

@@siddhantnayak7120 I have the 3.0d 218hp Automatic and it takes 9l for 100km. Mostly restricted Autobahn 130kmh. I think it's not bad for a heavy 2.2 tons 4x4 SUV with an old shool Automatic. Still running strong with 350`000km!

Put the shifter to the left (D/S) mode the shifting is more responsive and the pedal is more responsive to your input.

@@Darnokk15 best 0-200 times are achieved by shifting around 3500-4000 rpm....

@@BrunoMezenga2408 if that were true the car wouldn't rev out when accelerating hard. 3:26 it still does 0-60 in 8.6 or whatever by revving to redline. Maybe when it shifts later its back in the turbo range sooner so it's worth it.
My 2006 3.0D hit the same max speed for this engine. Good to know it still has it!

I'm from New Zealand love your x5 i own a 2003 e53 4.4 going on 5 years now but looking at getting a diesel as well quick question how fast are you aloud to go on your roads?what's speed limit That was crazy..

In Germany, there is no speed limit on the Autobahn 😃.

То чувство, когда собираюсь купить такой. Подскажи, на что при покупке надо обратить внимание в первую очередь? И что может любить голову?

@@Furious13ful на все мелочи так как они стоят дорого, а так самое главное это кузов и коробка с мотором , есть много видео на что смотреть (у меня например коробка пинается ремонт у zf стоит 3500-5500€)

No E39 has the older M57 with 193hp. E53 has a upgraded one with 218hp. And it has a 6 speed autobox instead of 5.

Prelift X5 and E39 had the same engine. But facelift is more like engine from E46 330D facelift

the e39 has a 2.9l m57 and the x5 facelift has a 3.0 m57tü. I have both and prefere the x5 engine, it has less turbo lag

X5 in boyutlarından ağırlığından ve yüksekliğinden dolayı çok daha fazla hava sürtünme katsayısı var. Özellikle yüksek hızlar x5 için tabiki daha zor. Sedan arabalara göre çok daha fazla güç istiyor bu hızlara çıkmak için.

no it doesn't, i had both models e38 + e53 and the 7 series was way smoother at driving with it's v8 and chassis, also much quieter but to drive the e53 3.0d was like driving a tank in a very good way!

Prety much same, 3.0 litter X5 feels like u are in 2,8 E39 hahah
A remapped 3.0d will beat a 4.4 v8 and have better mpg

The 3.0d 218 hp engine is golden
Schlechtes Video und das in 3 Punkten 1. du gehst ständig vom Gas runter 2. du spielst die Leistung des X5 nicht voll aus 3. du fährst nur auf D. Somit fährt er die Gänge nicht voll aus wie im S Modus
