This video is about the exhaust sound of a stock BMW X5 25d F15 generation. The twin power turbo engine has 231 hp and 4 cylinders in line. The diesel engine also has a maximum torque of 500 Nm which is more than enough to move the 2 to car.
In the video I also show you a cold start, acceleration and I rev it properly. I show you how the 25d X5 exhaust sounds like under a lot of revs and also idle.
This luxury SUV from BMW can go as fast as 220 km/h or 137 mph, having an automatic transmission Steptronic with 8 gears. My X5 is the sport line, featuring paddle shifters, for a more dynamic driving.
Although the 25d is the entry engine, it is pretty quick. You can go from 0-100 km/h in 7.7 seconds and from 0-60 mph in 7.3 seconds.
The double exhaust is stock but it definitely makes a bold statement, letting everyone know you are driving the ultimate driving machine, even if we're talking about a large luxury model. In the same time the exhaust sound is not too loud, so you don't have to worry about disturbing the neighbors.
