Hello again, I did this and a resonator delete and it is pure INSANITY, the shop I used were very good, my X3 now sounds better than a factory x5m competition, with an exhaust bracket add on though I was near a 400$ bill, but it's worth it, thanks for the idea and uploading this video.

Awesome sound for an easy-to-do mod! Looking at getting mine removed as well once critical maintenance bits are taken care of first. Enjoy seeing e83 mod videos, not too many out there!

e83's are the fastest of the older suv's, the 2007-10 are even faster, it's insane, they are almost too fast for an suv, you get in trouble with a daily driver.

I have a 06 n52 x3, this video made me decide I wanted to cut off my own muffler 😂 question though, what are your rims? I’m looking to swap mine and those look good

Cool video! Not many videos on E83 mods out there, so keep 'em coming! Just a thought on your slightly stumbling idle on cold start: you may want to have a look at your vanos solenoids AND vanos check valves to see if they're gummed up. Once cleaned, this seems to clear up a lot of the idle issues in these cars with N52 engines. Maybe you could make a video of it as well? Cheers!

Hi! Agreed, not too many videos on them out there! I do plan on adding some upgrades to it but its looking like i'll be doing some more maintenance to it. very good observation BTW! I had noticed not too long ago, It is very likely the issue will be related to the vanos system. I will be looking into it pretty soon. Cheers!

Yeah definitely doing this to my 2004 X3 3.0i. Also getting a Yakima roof rack, power coating the wheels black, and going with all black emblems.

I’m going to be doing something similar to the x3. Go with black wheels, caliper paint, slotted rotors, lower springs perhaps wheels spacers too! Stay tuned 👍🏼

$100 buck should be just fine to get you a muffler delete at any muffler shop anywhere in SoCal. thanks for tuning in!

hey Chris, In summary 1. Stock muffler removal. 2 straight pipe welded to replace stock muffler. 3. for aesthetics your choice of exhaust tips! 4. lastly don't forget to plug the vacuum line also known as ( golf tee mod) if your exhaust system comes with it so you don't get a cel! hope that helps, Cheers!

@@abrolovesyall6920 actually didn’t, been wanting to plan on it soon, i just took the resonator completely off and muffler and added a exhaust muffler, i think flowmaster or magna flow so it has a deep tone but i rather do this been thinking about going back to do it, let me know if you do please
