BMW R1250GS is effortless to wheelie

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Now I want a R1250GS even more. I had never wheelied a GS before, so I was very happy that in about 15 minutes I was already comfortable bringing it up on one wheel. Thanks to my friend @alexlugo.rr for trusting me with his machine.

"Wheelies make people happy man" I'm 34 / always been riding bikes / never learned to wheelie until I got a GSA 1200 No one ever asked me to wheelie, now that I can, every person next to the road is asking me to wheelie. It's like you 'ride like you can' :D

Practice a little 2nd gear clutch up here and there until you get the feel for it and it start coming up a few inches. Then work on carrying that small wheelie longer and longer, before you know it you'll be wheelying 2nd into 3rd and more. This bike makes it effortless.

Watch the tach and listen to the motor. When you hear the revs jump and come back down, that means he's slipping the clutch. You can power up the R1250GS, but the GSA with a full tank has more weight over the front, which makes it a bit harder. Both bikes are easier to clutch up in 2nd like Cuban Rider is doing here.
