Ofcourse you can't appreciate that because you named the most boring Jaguar ever made as something made by 'decent car designers' Alfa Romeo is never going to make mainstream boring cars, because they are Italians with style and flair.

I don't care what ugly nachos grill they want to make the car looks goofy af, and even though it handles better than the XE it sold worse because it's uglier. Get over it

Love all the work on testing cars of interest! I have one minor suggestion, perhaps include the trap speeds as well! There is A LOT of info in trap speeds. It would let people have an idea of who is pulling the hardest by the time the cars cross the line. Like my car is a tuned Audi S4 and will beat most current muscle cars in a 0-60 or 1/4 mile for ET. However, I will be on the edge of being passed by a Mustang GT or Camaro SS since they’re trapping higher by the end. If we continue on they’d begin to leave me behind. Only a 392 Dodge and I would continue to trade blows after the 1/4 mile marker. So times alone are sufficient to illustrate what can happen in the real world. At best it’s another data point for us nerds to work with. Thanks for your work guys!

There are a couple of problems with the Giulia in this video. It doesn’t look like the transmission is being engaged in Sport-auto mode (by pressing the downshift paddle) and launch control can’t be activated in the Giulia unless you’re in Race mode and the shifter has been moved to manual mode.

This race shows me how good audi's all wheel drive system is, and the cars have strengths and weaknesses.

As soon as yiani sat in the m4 I was so happy

I own both an Alfa Giulia Q4 and a 3 series ( 330i). To each his own .. but the Alfa’s gear box and shifting is crazy smooth . I have almost zero turbo lag . And the torque is instant , it’s a Visceral car ,I truly love it . The BMW is built more solid , it’s precise and the braking is better . That being said ....Giulia is just so amazingly enjoyable to just drive , anywhere and everywhere . Italians and Germans did good work .

On realibility I'd choose the Bmw, I have e46 330i with over 250 miles and still going strong, no major problems just need care and upgrades

So does Mat. They are both VAG shills. They put new tyres on VAG cars to suit the surface and he cons people in some models by putting the gearbox in eco or normal mode but the engine still set to full on mode, meanwhile those racing him have to put their non VAG cars into full eco mode. He thinks we are daft and I know this because I owned cars he did it in.

The audi was the best off the line. But no one can deny the astronomical aftermarket support for the S55 Engine in the M4. With a few bolt on parts it could smoke those other two.

The colours on the rs5 and m4 are lovely

If you look closely you can see on the first drag race Matt released earlier the brakes than Yianni, meaning there is no cheating, just the blessing of quattro awd

Prettiest car by far is Audi, and it's also the most comfortable and technologically advanced of the 3 cars. Fit and finish is also best, and we all know, if it's, anything other that sunny and dry out, Audi is the safest and fastest choice.

Car Freaks the styling in and on an audi is still the best, audi also has the most advanced technology of them all, and mercs and BMW’s aren’t more comfortable than an audi or any other high-end sports cars! They’re pretty much the same, maybe worse!

It's not a real-life test, with the exception of the brake test. All these cars are great! Essentially, it comes down your preferences. My preference is I'd take all of them.

Lov how competitive yiani and matt are. It doesnt matter wat they happen to be driving…they just want to beat eachother!!

3 years ago alfa did 1/4 mile in 11.9 sec Matt was the pilot... I guess she got 0.6 sec slower ... Its more a show then race realy... Loved the video. Loved the Giulia QV fastest sedan...

About the break test: Audi was ahead + had higher velocity and broke a bit later. The formula for Ek = m*V^2/2. So even 1 km/h affects a lot (nearly 3000 m^2/s^2 more if audi was driven at 113,654 km/h and other were driven at 112,654 km/h ~ 70 miles/h). Their weight influenced much less on the result (less than 100 kilos difference). And I have no clue about tyres. That’s why I think the result isn’t fair and I don’t say that Audi would have beaten others that way.

@Slim Shady Yours are just unfounded and defamatory words. I have a 2010 Alfa Romeo Giulietta (ten years) with 230000 km. I have never had a problem. Before i had an Alfa 159 with 180000 km and zero problems, i changed just because i felt in love with the Giulietta. Before tell something try and be sure. Because you are just ruining the name of the brand.

@Slim Shady I don't like Audis anymore. To much fake vents and hidden exhausts and soft limited engines. I own a BMW and it's good and all but I want to try something else. The Alfa QV is something I've had my eye on for couple of months..I learnt a lot about the car from my research done
