BMW G310R Review at fortnine.ca

BMW goes overseas for production of the G310R? Come on... Will the real BMW please stand up? This little guy might not be Jim Jones' definition of ballin', but who is this motorcycle really for?

    Have seen a few different reviews by Ryan and no matter which bike the perspective of “who is it for” shines through in each, always with humour, flare, and taste. Each bike review seems to give answers and clues to “is it for me”.... which helps also answer the question “who am I really, when it comes to bikes”. This is truly helpful.

    Ryan..... Ryan...... RYAN!!! Hey man, I absolutely love the fact that you are finding creative ways to both verbally and visually convey a review. Pushing the envelope and riding the edge of what is expected and taking new approaches makes you not only an innovator but a pioneer in this category. Congrats and as a pioneer, you'll always get mixed reviews, just know there are many of us that actually saw the irony in the video. It is actually very intelligent. I appreciated the approach. I do have one request, you've created 160k subs who follow because you are a down to earth, no holds barred reviewer who takes an artistic and sometimes sarcastic view expressing realistic "should I buy this" reviews. You always did one thing, however, that I haven't seen in a while which made you like very few. You connected with your subs/audience/followers in the forums of your videos. You helped me buy my last helmet, through video and response. You seem distant, less approachable as of late. Keep making great strides as an artistic and intelligent pioneer, keep helping us be informed in our purchasing choices, and please.... keep connected to us, your roots, as the ryanf9 tree grows taller and further away.

Many of the new bikes like this one and the KTM, they still have very high start height for a new rider who is 5'3". and 105lbs. The only bike so far I have been able to find is the Z400 and that's only after you take into account the 2.5" lowering kits the dealer offered. Any help or advice would be welcome.

    I remember watching this. The night right before the morning I ended up waiting for BMW to open and bought it. My first motorcycle ever. No license and zero clue as to how to ride one, but figured that with 10+ years of MTB I'd be just fine. I was. And I really loved it. And despite the buzz at higher speeds, it can be a great companion for any trip. It is also much happier on city streets and shitty pavement than my next bike - the S1000R. It can handle unpaved ones easily as well. Oh, and it redlines at 167kph, Ryan. ;)

    This was pretty true. And you have no idea how crowd pleasing the 310 Adventure version is even when real superbikes are sitting next to it. Although when it comes to performance and budget, it get destroyed by 2017 Duke 390. But on a side note, if sales explode for this bike in India, you could very well call Bangalore BMW's stepdad. Same happened with KTM as Bajaj owns 48%. They have proper Superbikes outside but the 390s to 200s and now the 125 dominate the streets in India. That's more or less 100 thousand in the next 2 years.

    Do you consider vibrations and intake noise comfortable?

  • @shree397

    @shree397

    3 жыл бұрын

    It's not buddy it vibrates a lot more than 390 and has less power so 100-120 kmph comes at a higher RPM than 390 also, It costs almost same or lot more (GS310)as RE 650 twins(at least in INDIA) which are twin cylinder motorcycle and a benchmark for Engine refinement (ironically) and those bikes have gem of an engine which is proven now as RE650 twins are most sold mid segment bike in theq UK and INDIA. BMW fucked up big time and numbers show....even world wide they did not sell numbers they wanted too...it's not even exclusive as you get same bike at heart and bone by TVS in form of Apache 310RR(like wayyyyyyy better styling and VFM) with Ride by wire, engine modes, slippers clutch, TFT color Dash and much more. Don't get me started on service cost😂9276 Rs for 2100km is epic bill for a service cost. If you are not from India then it's even big is a gamble as you can buy other bikes too at similar costs.
