hehe the Corvette driver is the owner of Excelsior Motorsports, a high end Corvette race shop. Nice guy. His tires were beat up by the end of day 2. On day 1, he was 0.7 sec faster than me. But with his more beat up tires on day 2, I was faster.

so fast! your cool down lap was a little faster than my lap times in my almost stock e90 m3.

Thanks! Was driving a new suspension for the first time that weekend. Had a great time out there with the Bimmer Challenge guys.

Fast and consistent! I Love these videos please keep them coming. How well has this drivetrain treated you over the years? I can’t decide between E90 M3 DCT or the 135i DCT.

Drivetrain has been rock solid on track for almost 9 years. Original engine internals (except rod bearings), original trans, driveshaft, axles, subframe. Diff was replaced for performance. Amazing it all holds up.

was that a dct temp warning i saw?

Not sure. That dash is always lit up like a Xmas tree. Car is always freaking about all the stuff that's been removed.

Wait isn't that a rwd record?
