After grit use some polishing liquid to make it shiny like mirror. Other thing is that you need it to sand it very straight (camera lens surface should be completely flat), to achieve it, remove camera from car, put some sand paper on flat surface (flat table or so), then by hand move camera lens over the sand paper.

How can we polish it like that?

Mine is complete black screen, i can see nothing, did you think that is because of that, my lens is very bad like yours.

Camera is located near the fog light in the front bumper. But night vision system is an option, so make sure you have this option in your car.

@ HI, did it as you described it. The lens is glossy again but reflects without that gold hue. What strikes me is that the contrast and resolution has worsened. Before you have seen outlines of cars now it looks rather cloudy. Was that the same with you ?? How long have you polished in each step? Still have some deep craters in the lens. Thanks and regards Tobias

@ ok - so how did you remove the plastic grille/cover in front of nivi? Because i cant easily polish it with this in the way, and ive been told bumper has to be removed to get this off…

@@JovanKorica1 nop it get worse after polishing and shows like ghosts in screen :D sold the car already. Maybe it was broken itself. If its in bad condition i should try to polish anyway maybe it works for you. Who knows..

Sand polish paste for headlight after the 1000 2000 2500 sandpapers. My is like a mirror. The white powder on my is the polishing paste. See tinypic.com/r/3585gtl/9
