You saved me from having to listen to radio commercial ads and pulling from a CD collection. I was so close to making a mixtape. I just got an *06 7 Series 750i from a private sell.

As always, thank you for taking the time to share these videos. Without them, BMW would have cash in some relatively easy repairs. With that being, this did not work for me. It disabled everything except for Logic7 and Speed Volume. It would only stream through one front door speaker and the sound was very low. I tried different adjustments on my phone (Samsung 5) to no avail. I have a 2006 BMW 750LI, which is why I love you videos. You have saved me hundreds of dollars and provided me with the confidence to tackle repairs that would have otherwise went to BMW.

FLStateCop Hello, it might be a design flaw with our cars (2006) but I also am only getting front right speaker, I just didn't mention it in the video, I think I get rear also but I never listen to music via bluetooth, I just wanted to make a video explaining you can, because I get asked that question all the time. hope this helps:)

Hi, great video. I downloaded the app to my android phone, paired the phone to my 2006 750li. Turn on the app but when I attempt to play music the phone has a message saying "cannot play music during call" any thoughts? Thank you!

In center console there's also an aux port next to the lighter so you can get stereo if you want.

Hi guys. Great video Could anyone help me pls. I have a 735i 2002 and I have a Issa with a radio which can't find stations when I choose search and if I do find one manually than the sound goes up and down constantly while driving. Doesn't do it with CDs. While I'm stationary the radio plays ok but search for stations not possible. Any ideas what that could be?! Radio tuner or radio amplifier module ?! Thank you D

Use a bluetooth FM transmitter. They sound better and works in stereo, fits in your cars cigarette lighter or auxiliary input port depending on the model.

Hey Chris. Love your videos, they have helped me a lot. I have a 2006 750i and I have problems with the idling. My rpms sometimes go below 500 and the car starts to vibrate and shake like it's almost going to turn off. Just wondering if you know a solution for this problem. Thanks buddy

Karan Virk Hello, try watching my CCV video, aka Crank Case Vent Valves try that 1st to see if that's the problem another problem might be the main air duct to the engine is not seated right allowing air to cut in making your idle bad, I have many videos taking that part apart, try any video about replacing belts because I had to take that part of to get to the belts, hope this helps.

Mines did the same thing I got the new coils and plugs it solved it but it does still do it a little were you can barely notice it

nice find, but I plug a tt-br01 into my aux jack in the center console and pair my phone to that. works great and I get stereo sound. go to amazon and search for one since youtube won't let me post a link to it.

Pavilions Hello, I've driven the Porsche Boxster before, but I haven't done enough reserach to determine if it's reliable or not, I would Google the year your looking for example 2006 Porsche Boxster S problems issues, and read everything you can in the Porsche forum boards, just like the BMW forum boards everyone is helping eachother:) Hope this helps, that's how my buddy found out about the Porsche 911 problems.

I try to do it on my 03 bmw 745i but it didn't work I'm not sure if my has Bluetooth

it plays thru your bluetooth module, which only directs the audio to your front door speakers, thatis the function of the TCM.

For those of you who DO have an AUX input, but want to connect your phone via bluetooth to play wirelessly, I suggest the following: www.amazon.com/BlackBerry-Remote-Stereo-Bluetooth-Gateway/dp/B00170KUM0/ 1) Connect Blackberry Bluetooth Stereo Gateway bluetooth device with power (Its a micro-USB) within your car somewhere through an outlet. 2) Connect the AUX cable from the bluetooth device to your car. 3) Connect your mobile device to the bluetooth device. (Instructions come with the device) 4) Set your car's audio to AUX input. 5) Once your phone says bluetooth media device connected, stream your music, wirelessly! I own an 07' E70 X5 and this was my work around on streaming via bluetooth wirelessly. I have an outlet conveniently in my center console armrest, for power and AUX in. Since the Blackberry dongle was connected as a "media device" on my phone, regular bluetooth calls still function just fine, silencing my music as a phone call comes in, and my car automatically activates bluetooth calls like normal. If bluetooth is always turned on my phone, it auto connects when I start my car. So I just turn on my music app, press play, and drive! P.S. Good luck Chris on getting an AUX-in installed! (Can't believe these models didn't have the option! Just as bluetooth music streaming wasn't an option...)

Further note, my audio sounds GREAT. Not "Mono". Yes this dongle is pricey, I'm sure there's other cheaper ones out there.

There's a guy on Bimmerfest who's done it and to summarise you need a late M-ASK unit. Opinions differ on whether late 2006 will work or if 2007 probably 2008. You also need a cable from BMW and you need to change the pins. ASK unit has to come out and I lifted my centre console to put the AUX in the glove box after removing the redundant phone and CD boxes. Kinda job that you get real satisfaction from finishing. If you catch my drift.

Carlos Rodriguez have you replaced your rotors? my old cadillac had bad steering wheel shaking it was warped rotors. Next it could also be a wheel bearing do you have a loud noise coming from the wheels front or back?

I have a 2004 745li, all of my sound in my car is out, & my radio doesn't work.. Even when I open the door, it doesn't beep anymore. Any suggestions on what the problem may be?

If your car is 2007+ its should have aux cable its way better than this bluetooh. (The sound quality better).

Good video and informative , but man BMWs are the worst sometimes.

That is not a solution to the problem. You're playing audio via a bluetooth chip that is not made for music streaming and the audio quality is accordingly bad. Had this happen by accident/bug once and it was absolutely terrible.
