just a heads up if your e46 is made after 2002 your clutch pedal safety switch is completely different

you can also just code this into your ews using bmw scanner instead of cutting up wires

My sensor went bad and I am waiting on a new one. Is there a way to do a temporary bypass. If I just jumper yellow+purple and the blue+black together instead of plugging the connector back into the sensor, will that work? I am also having a really hard time getting the connector off the sensor like the other guy. I have tried using a thumb tack, but no luck.

Honestly can't tell the difference and it's purely for aesthetics in my opinion
