I dont know about that that. a matter of perspective. sure compared to modern high end BMW's it may not be that fast. but compared to the average "sporty" car of today it is still fast. let alone compared to modern "normal" cars it is very fast.

@@gratler I second this. Did a 40 roll from 2nd gear with a 2018 5.0 mustang and LOST but was only 2 car lengths behind when we let off at 120. More than enough power to call it a fast car.

@@michaelellis5148 yes I had one myself for 12 years. especially in 2nd gear this thing pulls like a motherfucker. it would be faster but it is also let down by the 6 speed. put the modern 8 speed in this and it be much faster still BMW v8 engines from this gen for me are the best of all time: the newer ones may be fast due to turbo but these olders are more reliable. too bad they could not continue on this trajectory :(

What are you saying right now? Comes with over 320hp from the factory, some minor upgrades, and I mean minor, especially if you have some shop buddies and your at 360 in no time.

I've got a 540I, my last car was an 8v s3 @ stage 2+ with 400WHP and before that I had a 2016 SRT grand Cherokee with 500BHP, My 540 is only like 310BHP and it feels plenty quick ?

love these cars , had mine for about 5 years now and could never part with it ,only got back box and resonator taken out but sounds awesome still

I have one now with the n62. I'm going to get another one soon and then plan on testing a alpina b7 supercharger. Which there some b5 out there just hard to find. Finding just the alpina supercharger is proving to be difficult without buying a complet b7 engine. Anyway sounds good. I don't think I want quite that much. That pretty strong sedans. I mean I got an e60 m5 on my bucket list. Something about the e60 is perfect balance of being a sports sedan.

ESS has a supercharger made for the E60 545i, from what i could tell it works amazingly well, people have been getting reaching the 500HP milestone with those superchargers and a good tune.

@@ShadowStreamMedia yes I had dirty transmission filter once that replaced should go away.. I end up selling my E60 I just hit 112k miles on it n bought a f10 550i

Not really interested in them, slapstick shifting is fine for now until I one day do a manual swap.
