As an A5 owner, this was an inspiring video to watch. Can't wait to start tuning her. This car is so much fun to drive, very eager to accelerate and good on curved roads. I love my A5.

The 40 and 45 is pretty slow even tuned. Stay w/ regular 2.0 252hp for a fun tuning experience. May even need to find a transverse 2.0t or move to the 3.0t cause the longitudinal is almost maxed out at 345hp no safe universal ethanol tunes yet.

Great job on the reviews and drag races! I'd like to know your tire setups for eac hrace as it may be a huge factor you are missing to tell us. Also would be great to see some single manufacturer normal car line up with the highest engine versions. Lets take Audi as an example. Grab A7 3.0 BiTDI, A6 3.0 BiTDI, A5 2.0 TFSI, etc...on line, all quattro ofcourse and see what they are made of!

Great that racing more normal cars. 👍🏻 liked it. It would be better if mentioned other engine options that could be bought for both both models.

i have Audi A4 petrol 2.0 Tfsi with 211hp and 350 nm of torque it does 0-62 mph (0-100kmh) in just 7.1 seconds and 1/4mile (402m) 14.2 seconds. awesome video matt 😁 (i love audi drag races)

idc where you guys are living, but it is the most normal thing to me, to see baseline BMW, Audi and mercedes models on the road.

I enjoyed this! What about Audi A3 vs BMW 1-Series vs Merc A-Class, and Astra vs Focus vs Golf/Leon/Rapid vs Civic/Auris? All petrol of course!

In some angles the BMW looks awkward and lost all of its BMW character. Audi looks imo way better

@@its_MSR it shouldn’t have won this race either, has Carwow used Audi’s highest powered engine (40tfsi) against Bmws lowest (20i). They had to cheat just to make Audi win at least one 🤦‍♂️

Would be nice to see generations difference. Like e90 330i with 3.0 vs new 330i that has 2.0 or Fabia RS MK1 1.9 tdi vs new Fabia with 1.0 85 kw. :)

Can you please do a comparison of Audi A5, BMW 4 series and C class cabriolet models?

Please we all know they will never bother, 95% of their drag races are German even for the ‘normal car’ in this video. Probably they never acknowledge that other countries too make quick cars
