It became very clear to me why Germany lost two wars. I worked on my M. Benz and then my BMW, and I worked for Siemens mobility for a while. It became clear as to WHY. They do not know how to build serviceability and simplicity in their systems. Good think that we kicked their ass.

Hi - Thanks for watching and sharing your experience! We no longer have access to that vehicle so we recommend that you check with a service/repair manual (available at auto parts stores and the dealership) for the vehicle to be sure.

A 2011 BMW 328i has a completely different battery layout than a 2016. Like the entire 10 extra steps that come with the red cover board and the ground clamps…

As we say in the beginning of the video, we always recommend referring to the vehicle manufacturers step by step instructions, (found in the vehicle owner’s manual or a service/repair manual) so your familiar with the project before you begin.

Hay nice video quick question on a 2008 328i do you have to put a memory holder on it and if so what will happen if I missed that step??? Any feed back would be much appreciated Thanks.

@@D-train69- resets the computer for possible inspection if you getting a new safety expecting, may reset stereo settings, stuff like that.

Thank you for watching. Most BMW's after 2002 need to be registered after battery replacement. Consult your owners manual and/or mechanic for specifics on your vehicle.

Why do u need to change the battery ?

Hi - Thanks for watching! The battery must be changed when it fails a battery test or can no longer power the vehicle’s electrical system.
