Issue with one thing you said; inverted forks do not have a lower center of gravity, they actually have a higher one. Less of the weight is in the lowers, aka the stanchions, which allows the wheel to move more fluidly, given there's less sprung mass. Otherwise, thanks for the review man. Definitely interested in these guys.

At wheel weight at 2+kg reducing sprung mass of fork not play significant rolle.

great video, I got the bluto fork in 120mm and have to say it's really good for what I do, and handles every thing, so still super impressed with it.

Great comparison video, I have Blutos on all three of my fat bikes and you are spot on with your analysis. I always like finding folks that ride their fat bikes full time as I do. Just scored a carbon Kestrel and after switching out the 4.8's for tubeless 4.0's it is hovering right at 30 lbs and is super agile.

Great video...nice job very informative. I just got a Rigid Surly Pugsley. It is a custom build. Super light frame, it is a standard MTB geometry frame from 2015. The new pugs is longer and more for bike packing...I ride mine on some gnarly trails here in FL and love it...it plows over everything and the big tires at 8psi in the front and 10 in the rear soak up everything...Fat bikes are awesome!

I think the bluto fork is more of a trail fork and better for commuting. It's lightweight construction makes it feel plush and smooth but cannot handle serious drops. The wren can handle more aggressive riding from what I can see. The wider stanchions on the wren and with most of its mass towards the axle. Less tendency for "bump steer", less prone to "pitting" (bottom out) and more linear power delivery to the ground with less initial rebound. FOR me. I would have to buy the bluto fork only due to my tight budget XD and I don't live near mountains.... otherwise I would choose the wren 😁😁

Nice review and great video. Really shows the differences. I'm upgrading from a Trek Farley with a Bluto to something more. If you don't mind, what tire size were you running here and at what pressure give or take? Thanks!

Great vid, some nice big drops thrown in.I have a question for you.Seeing as the internals of the Bluto are basically a Reba, wouild it be possible to put The Internals of a Revelation into the Bluto? I imagine this would make them handle better and be more "plush".Any thoughts, cheers

What tire pressure were you running?? Do you feel like you can run slightly higher psi with the front shock as a pose to running a straight ridged fork?

Does the crown on the Wren clear the bottom downtube? I have been looking at getting a suspension fork for my Rocky Mountain Suzi-Q -30. My bike has been tested by the manufacture with the bluto so I know it will fit. Thanks

Hell no, he almost bottomed out to rim a few times. I'd say he was around 15psi. Do remember he is running hard surfaces so not this 8psi crap you hear on FB groups, that's for Canada snow.

Well let me tell ya... Wren customer support is shocking! Utterly. I was becoming a trade supplier for them and I've just put that on hold because the simply do not return emails and the left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing. Go with sram (rockshox) for now until Kevin and crew improve the company after sales support (or even sales support).
