This portable power station can be used to power or charge soo many different items. With us taking away more and more electronics when we go camping nowadays it is important to keep everything charged. It also includes a built in LED light and carry handle. The LED light has 3 different functions, Low, High and SOS function. All of these functions only draw a few watts of electricity from the battery.
The Lithium Iron Phosphate battery has an extremely long life. The battery pack is rated to 2500 drains and still after this time it will have 80% capacity. This is extremely impressive and make this station an investment.
In this review I begin by talking about all of the technical specifications related to the Bluetti EB3A. This is an ultra compact lithium Power Station. The station is powered by a LiFeP04 battery. This means that the unit weighs in at 4.6kg. The Bluetti EB3A is ultra portable coming in at 255mm Long, 185mm Tall, 180mm Wide. It can also charge from the 240v wall socket, Solar panels or 12v DC cigarette socket. It also incorporates a UPS function which allows for the power supply to bypass the inverter when plugged into 240v and be supplied straight to the item being powered to avoid discharging the battery.
The Bluetti EB3A is an extremely versatile unit that can be used for-
- Camping
- 4WD - four wheel driving
- Caravan
- Tent Camping
- Charging camera and drone batteries
- Charging your phone from wireless charging
- 12v Shower power supply
- Camping fan
The Bluetti EB3A also has a built in 600Watt Sinewave inverter. This means that it can run all of your house hold appliances as long as the don't exceed 600W Draw. I found that it could run a small fan, rice cooker, shaver and a small kettle.
Bluetti's EB3A has a brand new display panel. The display panel can now show us Input supply, output supply, battery charge, estimated battery life and weather the unit is charging or in turbo mode. It also has a lot of built in safety features which are monitored by its on board Battery Management System. The EB3A can also pair with Bluetti's Bluetooth Application, through the app you can turn on and off different sections of the unit. Turn the complete unit off. Also you can monitor the inputs, outputs and estimated battery life.
I carried out a few real world tests in this video. The Bluetti EB3A is fully capable of running a 12v camping fridge for around 16 Hours. This could be more or less, depending on the ambient temperature and how many times you are in and out of the fridge. This is enough to keep your things nice and cool once you arrive to camp. The Batter life can also be extended with the addition of solar charging or charging from 240v or 12v charging.
Thanks a lot for watching guys! If you enjoyed this video and would like to see more videos like this. Please like and Subscribe to my channel : )

I didnt want a permanent 2nd battery in my car due to not running a fridge every day. Ended up with the Ardent 175Amp hr battery box from Aussie Direct. Lasts ages running just the fridge. Charge it off a kickass 20amp charger👍

Hi there from France ! Your review was interesting and enjoyable. I just got my E3BA and would like to connect a low voltage kettle , is a 24 volt DC going to work on this baby ? even though it will probably take about 20 minutes to boil Or should I go for a low wattage kettle , even thogh we don't mind waiting. Thanx for your answer Al in the Alps .

hi Nick, thanks for your honest and technical review of the EB3A. My Q is will my CPAP machine run on this , if so for how long? the CPAP has a 24V DC ~~ 2.5A . It requires constant power supply all night for 7 hours sleep. thanks , Paul

Hi Paul, I believe it could run a CPAP machine as bluetti advertise this as being one of the things it can run. However I think you may want to look at a larger unit to ensure it will run all through the night without any issues. If you message bluetti about your requirements they should be able to tell you which model would be best suited to your needs.

Been looking at lithium power stations a lot this week as a more affordable temporary alternative to dual battery systems. My family looking to camp this spring/summer but can only go away for 3days 2nights max. Do you think this could keep a 5bar led light running for 2nights & charge a couple phones?

It should be capable of doing that. If you need a bit of extra charge you can get the 12v car charging cable for $19 so you could top up the charge when driving the car as well.

What size solar panel is needed just to offset the output from 40L fridge. I am looking for a cheap solution- battery like this + 40L fridge and solar panel for camping over weekend

You can get away with the bluetti 120w or 200w solar panels. It should offset the fridge usage and even recharge the unit during full sunlight as well.

Thank you for your great review. Can we use a normal 12 V car battery connected directly thru the car charging cable coming with the unit to charge the unit up?

Great work, I am currently looking at alternative ways to power my 45ltr Engel fridge, and not looking for doing an in car build. can you please give me an estimate of how long you would think the eb3a would run it for ?

The fridge I used for testing during the video is an Engel 40l so it will be very similar to the test I showed you in the video. You could get 16hrs just off the bluetti but if you charge the unit while driving via the 12v dc charging port you can prolong the charge. You can also use solar panels with the bluetti to recharge.
