Man, I'm so slow. I was 42ish when this song was popular...now I'm 72. Always loved their music, but didn't realize til tonight, listening to Spotify on my tablet, how beautiful this band is. The very way they were getting thru to those children....melts my heart, and brings on the tears.

3:14 is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen and I'm old. I'm crying like a little girl. The way she looks at him and connects and then takes a couple deep breaths as the music was moving her. It let's you know there is a God when you see that beautiful little girl's face and hear that perfect music.

This exactly. I’m sure over the years I’ve posted a comment about this exact moment before, somewhere down there in the thread. The look on her face when he makes that change- that’s what IT is all about right there. You can tell that she was feeling exactly what every other person in that venue was feeling, regardless of one’s “intelligence level”. Music is one of the very oldest, most ancient activities that humans have ever engaged in with one another. There’s a reason that no matter who you are or where you come from: music connects us.

I play drums for a living for a touring artist named Hamilton Loomis, look him up. Hamilton is a master guitar player but also plays harmonica simultaneously very well at his shows. I asked Hamilton “how good is John Popper at playing a harmonica?” Hamilton replied “John Popper is as good as you can get at the harmonica dude.” This one little exchange gave me that much more respect for the band than I already had. I feel that John isn’t recognized enough at being an absolute legend of his craft! Wanted to share that!
