Young Duane did himself and his dad proud on this one. NICE. I liked that he put his own licks in most of this, then the signature licks of his dad's, right at the end of his solo, with the guitar harmony and all. Call me a sentimental old fart, but I clouded up, a little, with it.

I think of Duane Betts as the next generation from the Allman Brothers, but for some reason I don't think of Derek Trucks that way as much -- probably because Derek played in the ABB for 15 years, and those 15 years were my second favorite era of the ABB, second only to the early years with Duane Allman. (Though the early 1990s were a great era too.) But in reality, you're right. Derek and Duane are both part of that next generation, in the sense that each of them is either the son or the nephew of an original ABB member. And yes, it's wonderful to hear them keeping these great songs alive.

Yes!
love it.
Watching Susan bopping and smiling with joy during Duane's solo warms my heart.
I saw Tedeski &Trucks band in Savanah,Ga 2013/ Great show😊😊
Stunningly talented group. The joy is evident. Nailing this Song so definitively is the greatest tribute that one could pay to the Allman Brothers, and only people of such talent could approach this. All the feeling, all the style and as close to perfection as one could imagine.
That was the best blue sky in years!! Duane Betts is on fire

Derek is a tuff act to follow- but Dickey’s Son rolled into the Jam like a good old Sunday morning! Duane Betts killed it here. Dickey’s Legacy lives on❤️
Thanks for that didn't realize how much I needed to hear this today. One of my favourite songs of all time by my favourite band with the legend Dickey Betts son doing his daddy proud! Cheers...
F’in great!
I saw the The Allman Brothers in 1969, I was 11 and with my Mom and Dad. Yeah I grew up in a wonderful great time. 65 and a half now and still CAF!
All I can say is Wow. Dickey and All Allmans Passed Your Music Lives for Eternity. ✝️🙏😇❤️💪

Brilliant! People can you feel it, love is everywhere
I have seen the original Allman Brothers at the warehouse and other New Orleans places. These newer generation folks definitely do them proud Great sounds, great job to all
I’ll tell you, this is such a great tune, and Duane is such a great player.
Duane not only looks like a younger version of his dad, he even has the same facial expressions body gestures!!!
That was so emotional to see. I’m in floods of tears. That song is a thread that runs through my whole life and TTB and Dickie paid massive respect to the original. A masterful and joyful performance all round. Thanks for posting!
Beautiful rendition of a great song. Great work by both guitarists, Susan and the band.
Great video, I grabbed it just right of you trying to get this into Liz but didn’t get but the first few min. Amazing run with zero repeats.
The kids gigging with their father's music. That's some respect right there.
This kid gets it. Crushed this.
Come on with it!!!!!
Killer rendition of a classic!
