Always cool. I met Buck at Janis Landing, Cleawater, Fl. He with his wife Sandy after the show. Johnny Winter opened. Buck. Is the best musician I ever met. No ego. He took the time to talk, for about 15 minutes. One on one. Best memory of my life so far. I don't think I'll have a better encounter ever again. As far as meeting a true ROCKER.🎉

“The Only Thing” is a beautiful song. Should never have been left on the shelf. Lyrics are touching and instrumentals mesmerizing. Thank ya Buck.

NOBODY remembered "The Only Thing" including me. When I rediscovered it I was amazed how damn good it was. And, oh yes, I remember Milwaukee!

Boc is one of my top bands and Buck and Eric treated me and my buddies really nice when we met them. Can't wait for this album. The last one, "The Symbol Remains," was outstanding.

The term "Heavy Metal" was first used in a William S. Burroughs novel The Soft Machine (1961). Some say Sandy Pearlman was the first person to use it to refer to music.

I have had the privilege of speaking with Mr. Roeser a few times over the decades since seeing him with Soft White Underbelly in July 1968. He IS a gentleman. When he talked with me, it was like he and I were the only 2 in the room.

Great chat.I have seen BOC 44 times and hoping for 45.I heard some of this new upcoming release already and it comes at a good time after the fantastic The Symbol Remains.

Until watching this video, I never realized how different Buck's speaking voice and singing voice are. His speaking voice is lower and almost gravelly, while his iconic BOC singing voice is smooth and velvety.

Great interview. Thanks for posting! I tend to agree with Buck regarding the current popularity of 'Don't Fear The Reaper'.A couple of years ago my wife and I were visiting our son and DIL and we went out to dinner to an upscale restaurant. There was music playing while we were dining and this classic song by BOC came over the sound system.Unbelievable, except I heard it with my own ears. It's one of my favorites and has been from the first time I heard it on local FM radio.Of course I purchased 'Agents Of Fortune' not long after.

Just an idea, what if BOC held a song contest where BOC fans submit songs to be chosen and recorded for another album.

I never considered BOC ‘Metal’. But it’s one of those, “you had to be there” to understand, conversations. For their time? Metal. Now? And when I was a teenager(80’s) not metal. Either way, fantastic band!

I'd put it as Music: "Hard Rock" Lyrics: "Metal", they don't define the genre but are a crucial part of the foundation that later bands draw on.
