For the 50g of birthday silk mohair - the designer Joji Locatelli has a few patterns that include mohair panels/stripes instead of held double with other yarn. The ones I think might work best would be the Elton Pullover or Elton Cardigan! The smaller sizes just use 50g of silk mohair total for the whole garment.

You could make some petite knits mittens with the mohair and fingering yarn. they would be very warm. And you might have enough to make your son a matching pair.

Just a quick thing to think about…. Once you have your wedding dress on, the overskirt will be harder to put on from the bottom because of the bulk of the dress’s skirt. I think it’ll be much easier to put on over your head.

Yes, true! But I want the option to be able to step out of it during the night. And I think when taking it off, it will be easier to step out of it rather than pull it off?

What a great week of knitting! "Smaller" projects can be so refreshing to have the feeling of achievement. With the tshirt, the blanket and the stuffed animals you managed a lot, very impressive. I am excited to see the test knit develop, it looks very cute indeed 😊

Hei, you are doing amazing! Love watching your channel 🎉 For the mohair - I could think of some vest, if you pair mohair and any wool yarn - could be great 👍

Your blouse no 1 turned out lovely and it’s nice to have it different from your blue one. The little stuffies are adorable as they are. Just a different version. Your baby blanket is stunning. Beautiful knitting and the pattern and color is gorgeous. You manage to create a lot.

I love your wedding dress and skirt. So pretty! As far as your birthday mohair, pair it with white yarn and make a Musselburgh hat or some hat. That's what I would do. Have a good week❤

Thank you❤️ the tynn silk mohair might be a bit too rough to make a comfortable hat🤔 I'll have to think a bit. I really want to honor my birthday yarn by making it into something perfect🥰

Seeing you hold up the rust and dark green cotton merino really makes me want to order that right now lol. But I have yarn for the next 5 years already 😬 Such beautiful colours! The colourful mohair I would definitely hold with something. Would be a fun scarf if you can tolerate it around your neck (I can't with Tynn Silk Mohair unfortunately). Or use it in stripes? Or a vest for your son?

I know that feeling haha😅 but I do really recommend cotton merino! Maybe you can get some in 5 years😅😂 The tynn silk mohair feels quite rough, so I'm not sure it would make for a comfortable scarf😅 It might be good for a vest? Or maybe colorwork?

Hei Oline🌞 Your blouses no1 are just wonderful! You are amazing knitter! 😊 I agree that the colour of cotton merino - dark green are greit, I made Melange sweater for my husband, but with only one strand and it looks fantastic.👍 Hilsen fra Moss 🌞

Your birthday gift skein of Tynne Silk Mohair might be gorgeous knit on it’s own as a scarf but you should definitely make something for YOU since it was a birthday gift.

Hi! I was thinking about he mohair and I guess I would look for pattern for mohair held with another yarn, eg fingering weight merino. This way you could use larger needles and knit maybe a shawl or a scarf. Another thought was to use it in a garment as an accent, ie. for pullover you could knit it held with white merino and maybe make some stripes with it, the rest would be white merino + white mohqir. Or a cardigan and maybe some colorful parts on the sleeves 😊

Hi! Thanks for all of these suggestions! This is so helpful❤️ I was thinking of probably pairing it with something else! Now that you mention using it for an accent, I think it could be really cool to use it for colorwork maybe🤔❤️
