BS&T are so underrated. One of my favourite 60's bands without a doubt!

This band was just in a class of their own...the brass was so tight..no autotune...these were musicians. Phenomenal.!!

Absolutely!!

DCT is such a tremendous singer. Totally unique voice. Deep and powerful. As soon as he opens his mouth to sing you know who it is. Like Karen Carpenter, a voice that's never been duplicated.

Without doubt, David Clayton Thomas is the greatest rock and roll singer of all time.

all of us 40 year olds who like this music, can thank our parents for having really good taste!

There are not many singers with the great voice an carisma of David Clayton Thomas.

I agree 100%! David Clayton Thomas has a fantastic voice! When I watch him sing "You've Made Me So Very Happy" it brings tears to my eyes!

When music was actually music

Its soo cool to hear and see him. I remember spinning wheel song when I was just 7 years old. It was one of the very few songs I remember that age. Right after i heard this i was taken and placed in states custody. I have held onto this song and memorys since. Tonight I found out he will be playing at frontier Town in Oklahoma yay!!!!!. I was able to get back with a friend of my family from back then and I am helping to raise her 14 year old. We will be all going to the concert in a few weeks.

I love that man. He is incredible. I'm sorry that he's now retired but I'm so blessed that I got to see him😊 in person

J’adore BS&T et depuis les débuts du groupe. Je suis français et j’étais souvent seul , dans les années 70/80, à écouter et aimer ce groupe. Encore aujourd’hui je me régale de cette musique intemporelle. Elle ne vieillit pas comparativement à moi 😂.

That brought back a few memories, i remember the first time I heard the BSaT album in the 70s. Great band doing a great job especially the drummer.

Now this band is TIGHT !!! , and what a lead singer . David Clayton-Thomas came and played a pops concert with the Oklahoma City symphony in 95 or 96 and it was fantastic.

The absolute best version/group of players ever called BS&T... tremendous musicians, arrangements, DCT of course. Showmanship along with with the highest of skills for each member... wow. Wish I had seen this live in the 1990s. 💔

I wish I could jam with DCT, I play bass, mostly grunge and alternative, but thus man, is the man.....he is beyond a musician to me, what an honor it would be to play music, and him sing it. Dream on I say!

Saw BST at Billy Bobs in Ft Worth in the 80’s….lucky me. They were fabulous.

Heard Lucretia in high school for the first time. Decided I wanted to play music professionally and never looked back! Thanks BS&T’s!

Saw them at Coach House ,San Juan Capistrano.Daves voice was strong, horns tight.They kicked ass!

I fortunate enough to see BS&T play on Silver Mountain Amplitheator . They had a black guitarist playing he was absolutely amazing! As was the entire group w/ DCT as always!

Wow! What sounded so hoaky on AM radio rocked out here!

I so enjoy watching the energy in this performance, like most of the BST performances. I just adore David Clayton Thomas.

Thank you for your interest, indigostars 1. All of the original Al Kooper era members of BS&T are alive and still going strong. Unfortunately, one member of the 1993 iteration of the band featured here, guitarist/vocalist Larry DeBari, has passed on. He was a very special human being; and he is greatly missed by all who knew him.

Sidemen are actually more the norm - especially where horns are concerned. Chicago having the same horn players for 40 years (now) is very, very unusual. The fact that Lee Lougnane had that band as his exclusive and very successful "gig" for all those years is singular. Also adds interest to their history. Cool to identify different eras based on a particular player: "The Randy Brecker Years"... "The Lew Soloff Years"... "The Nick Marchione Years"... etc. ;-}

Ha-ha - Ron Jeremy! Good one! I saw and heard BS&T this very year (1993) at the Stockhom Jazz & Blues Festival. It is still one of the best concerts I have ever been to.
