I don’t mind trash talking when it’s about the fighters skill set however when trash talking becomes personal and people bring religion family and countries into it that’s when it goes too far. Look at Floyd Mayweather I’ve never heard him talk bad about someone’s religion or kids or anything foul and he’s the richest fighter of all time. Trust me you don’t need to sellout to get money lol

@@hasanshafi9169 Trash talking isn’t selling your soul my guy .The truth is To generate hype you need one of the 2 things 1.Being a explosive fighter 2.Being a trash talker .If your a explosive fighter people want to see you fight fighters such as manny pac and Mike Tyson , manny pac wasn’t a known Trash talker but he was entertaining, Mayweather was a very passive fighter and not very entertaining to the audience but people wanted to see him lose .Beterbiev is a explosive fighter but he isn’t promoted well this is the first fight I seen of his that is promoted decently , Bivol is a star now so once they fight , the fight will be big .Mayweather didn’t start trash talking until his gati fight and once he did trash talk he was selling well

So true. The fact that Canelo fought Bivol at LHW brought a lot of much-needed attention to this otherwise totally ignored division. What is so crazy is that this division should not have been allowed to stay in the dark for so long in the first place.

This fight deserves to be in the main arena of the MSG. These are two beasts and one of the most exciting matchups in the making. Promote more, bring more eyeballs for these two warriors!

That sparring scene was insane. When beterbiev walked away not even breathing hard talking about “I didn’t want to hurt him” and his partner looked like he just been through a war. This fight should be awesome though. Joe smith is tough as nails

I like both guys very humble and hard workers. I'm sorry to say Beterbiev is at another level but he's a very nice guy and deserves to win. Bivol would be his toughest opponent because of his in and out style.

Style wise, this is a perfect guy for smith. Beterbiev will walk him down and try to break him. Smith is tough and a great puncher. Beterbiev gets hit and has been knocked down by lesser punchers. I wouldn't write joe off

They said Joe Smiths opponents were at another level many times (fanfara 30 to 1) favorite , and BHOP was garenteed another belt at a new weight class until He got knocked out of the ring taking his only KO loss of his hall of fame career. Now Beterbieve is 37 years old, Joe Smith Jr has a 50/50 chance to win this. Even though he is listed at 6 to 1 underdog.

Joe’s got a puncher’s chance but I hope he worked on his legs, jab and cardio as backup. Beterbiev is the strongest LHW in history and doesn’t back up. If Joe can’t land an early bomb to get him atta there he’s going to have to keep off the ropes. Just Beterbiev’s arm punches can knock you out. If you lay on the ropes and allow him to get his hip and legs behind his punches... even if you block them they can knock you out.

great analysis. This is what concerns me about Joe Smith's preparation with his coach. He admitted they don't have anyone else in the gym for camp/ so hopefully he knows to keep Smith off those ropes/ I hope they had some quality sparring partners as well.

Nonsense, superman was well past his prime when he fought Oleksandr and was already discussing retirement going into that fight, in fact he scored a knocked down which the referee did not acknowledge, and was also ahead on the scored cards as at the time of stoppage. He was 40 years old and had been a champion for 5 years leading up to the fight. I don't think you know very much about what you're talking about.
