A final-year medical student preparing for my final professional exams. Currently reading stroke, needed to refresh my memory on the blood supply to the brain. Your video is fantastic, and I'm thankful for the effort you put in. When I grad and start practice, I promise to create a channel to give back to the society. Thank you.
I've been a doctor for a few years and always find myself coming back to basics. My point being is that you're helping such a HUGE variety of people - students to professionals alike. Thank you, good sir

The blood supply was simply tough. Then, I stumbled on a channel that simplified the Circle of Willis. Then, I stumbled on this channel. You gave the meat to the bones.I liked, in particular, the origins of the ICA and the Ventrobasilar. I can see VERY clearly now. Thank You loads.
this is by far the best VISUAL GUIDE !!!!! Love how you present with medial view, lateral view and compare it again on circle of willis so i can imagine it better. THANKYOUUUUU!!!!

EXCELLENT video! Second year med student here. Just started my neuro unit and this answers all my questions that the lectures didn't cover! Thank you :)
I really like this voice. keeps me focused and makes the topic fun to remember and understand. Thank you for helping me in my gross anatomy classes!

The best video for blood supply to the brain, thanks so much!
Awesome to see you are still looking at and liking the comments after 2 years! Your content is really well made, I just wanted to point out that at 2:19 the carotid canal labelled on the middle cranial fossa on the right seems to be pointing to the foramen ovale instead of the exit for the carotid canal 😊
hands down the best anatomy videos I haver ever watched
You have explained and clarified this very complicated topic! Highly recommended for the shelf or step 2 CK!!! Thank you!!!!
Love your teaching style. Teachers like you make anatomy so fun and easy to understand!!

love the visual aspects of the explanation. thanks ;)
I am not a doctor but I have lots of interest in the brain function and blood supply. Just the way you "emphasise" in the tone of your voice makes it like so easy to follow and the excitement in your voice and tone when you tray to depict something is apart from the actual fact that it is all so instructional.
You're doing great job, thank you! (i'm a med student in Poland and you're saving my life before the exam)
i watched this 30 mins before exam and it literally saved my life thaaaank u so much

At 11.56sec you said if you block terminal branches you get Ischaemic stroke? I had central cerebral aneurysm clipping four years ago M1-MCA and have suffered with pain every day since behind my right eye. I’ve always been under the impression I was unfortunate to have an ischaemic stroke. You’ve made me re-evaluate this sentiment. I’ve been diagnosed with central post stroke pain syndrome. I’m glad the world has got people like you, Taking the time to dispense with knowledge and wisdom for free

I love your personality! Thank you! ❤️
I am a retired internal medicine physician and watching this brings back memories. Recently, I was thinking of not the anatomy but rather the physiology of the brain circulation; I seem to recall that the brain will maintain adequate perfusion even with low systemic blood pressure through some sort of mechanism. I have been doing some research trying to locate a reference to this phenomenon. I was hoping it would be mentioned in this video, but this video was about anatomy, not physiology.

That is through cerebral autoregulation, low BP will cause the vessels to dilate and maintain blood flow
