Blood on the outside of your poop can also just be hemmorhoids so don't let this scare you too much! Still, go get a colonoscopy. The prep is a pain in the neck but the procedure itself is a breeze!

I was diagnosed with rectal cancer at age 40. Looking in the toilet saved my life. I did 6 weeks of chemo/radiation, low anterior resection, had to wear a temporary ileostomy for 7 weeks and just had the reversal surgery 2 weeks ago. Good news they changed my diagnosis from stage 2 T3 to stage 1 T2. Clear margins, no lymph nodes involved. I’m lucky to have my life. Surgeries were hard, radiation was the hardest. I still have damage from radiation. I have no family history of colon cancer but my mom has crohns and my sisters have colitis. My Oncologist said rectal bleeding of any kind is never normal. My heart goes out to people diagnosed with late stage. I share your tears.

@@chulow9024 There's a difference between "mixed in" and "on" that many people aren't aware of. Apparently, you can see yours so it's not occult but if it's IN your stool as opposed to a few drops or streaks ON the surface of your stool, it's a different story. Another factor has to do with whether this is a constant condition or a "now you see it, now you don't.", episodic symptom. The latter is called intermittent scant hematochezia and will spontaneously resolve around 85% of the time. This could be caused by many "benign" pathologies--internal hemorrhoids, anal fissures, diverticulosis, irritable bowel symptom, and even anal sex. The most important thing you can do is remember that almost 95% of the time blood in the presence of stool has a benign cause. You can go to your doc and he'll more than likely refer you to a gastroenterologist. The odds are you'll have a test for Occult fecal blood (not observable to the human eye.). Also, you'll almost certainly be told to get a colonoscopy. If the blood you're seeing is a bright red, there's a high probability it is originating in the descending colon on the left side. The research shows that the fecal test and a flexible sigmoidoscope can identify any 97% of any potential colorectal cancers. If the sigmoidoscope doesn't expose the source of the bleeding, you can always follow up with the colonoscopy. But, for the moment, try to remember that while there's always a chance blood apparent ON stool could bring a frightening diagnosis, it almost always doesn't. Think of it this way, while most patients with colorectal cancer presented with bloody stool, the great majority of patients who present with that symptom don't have cancer. It's like sex. Every human being is alive because two people had sex (except in the case of artificial insemination), but the result of two people having sex, even without contraceptives, isn't a baby. Stay calm.

Which I dont understand cuz I showed the doc a picture of my stool. I havent had a firm stool in 3 weeks or so. It's been runny. I need to get a better diet. But thank you so so much for that detailed message.

When searching for this, I didn't actually wanna find out that I could have some kind of cancer.

This often really means that you wiped too hard or pushed too hard that you created a small cut. Nothing to worry about. Sometimes it hurts sometimes it doesn’t. Just depends how many cuts and how big they are.

I've been bleeding for more than two weeks.. i don't know what the poop is happening to me. I'm gonna try drinking enough water 'cuz i honestly don't, and i also don't eat much I'm busy studying so i skip a lot of meals. Anyways I'm gonna update my situation after drinking much water.. if i didn't, i may be dead. Update after one week of drinking enough water and eating regularly: First, Happy that I'm still alive. Second, seems like i was right.. i don't bleed anymore and my poop isn't hard anymore. You guys have to drink enough water and eat healthy, i was eating only one meal per day and rarely drink water (i drunk one cup in two/three days).. now everything is alright. Make sure you guys follow healthy habits and visit a doctor as soon as possible (even tho i didn't, which i know is wrong that i didn't lol)

If u could visit a doctor just go ahead.. otherwise try to understand the reason why this is happening to you.. (in my case I doubt it should be because of my food system and i tried fixing it. thus, it woks on me). but still it's highly recommended to go visit a doctor if this lasts for too long. Just please don't be scared, most videos and articles in internet explain the situation to be more likely as a colonial cancer.. which is not always the case. Internet is actually scaring me 😂😂😂😂 whenever i check something wrong with my body they tell me i may have Cancer lol.

I swear when you eat a nice amount of leafy green salad this happens.

Had two colonoscopies done already before 25 years of age because I bled a lot. But luckily it’s due to fissures and not cancerous. I do have to monitor what I eat and go to the doctors here and there. It’s still a pain to this day because I would be eating heathy and I would get pain and when I eat unhealthy, I don’t. But it changes from time to time. I just have to learn to deal with this issue and not let it affect my mentality too much.

How was your colonoscopy experience ? I noticed blood about eight months ago and my GI gave me the option to get a colonoscopy. I’ve been hesitant on getting it done because I don’t know what to expect And truthfully I’m scared.The rectal bleeding comes and goes there’s times that I’ll be fine and I don’t have any abdominal discomfort and there’s times where I feel it.

@@janicemorales2754 I still bleed from time time. Honestly, the second colonoscopy was worse than the second in the form of over contemplation that something was truly wrong with me. The first one, I was of course scared but the doctors made me feel comfortable and joked with me which made me feel safe in a unnerving procedure. I would say get it down. Because it will give you more of a piece of mind. To be honest, the most horrible thing about the whole situation was drinking that solution. It was awful but I trucked through it. I hope yours gets better.

20 just happened to me for the first Scared me so much

I was so scared of that and when I went to the doctor, it was just hemorrhoids

In my case I have been passing reddish brown diarrhoea stools (like a mahogany or rosewood colour) . These are bloody stools but NOT from any form of cancer. I have been diagnosed with a stool culture that I have been suffering from a severe case of Campylobacteriosis or from Campylobacter Jejuni. So not all blood in stool is caused by cancer.

Me too I am also 12 I don't want to die 😭😭

I am watching this just for safety precautions and now I am more anxious than ever and after reading all those comments about buthole cancer I am scared.....

I started taking these capsules call “zupoo” to help my digesting system and lately i’ve been seeing blood on my poop, i must say that it can also be hemorrhoid cus i feel a little discomfort when i poop. I am 38 btw

It came out pretty easily when I pushed for a second time

Just had quite a lot of bright red blood in my poop for the first time. Mixed with the poop. Seen small amounts before, but this was quite a lot. Quite a shock to see.

I have seen big blood in my toilet after passing stool only 2 times in a day but next day the bleeding stopped but I see very small red in my stool I don't know if is blood or red food I eat Any suggestion please

Thanks. I started researching about this (sort of awkward) topic and found out that I might have this type of cancer.

the video is a horrible lie striking fear of cancer into people, this video needs to be removed. actual reason; you haven't drank enough water during the day and hard poop is being push out too hard so 2 days of bleeding is normal.

Guys i just got back from my doctor appointment .Just so you know if the blood is really liquid and not solid at all plus its light red ,its probably from some kind of sauce you ate .Dont panic that easy

Geez thanks, it freaks me out when I saw a blood but it's not mixed with my stool. Now I know, don't easily believe what you see in google =/, I almost thought I had a cancer just because I've read that symptoms I had. Is it normal that it's not a sauce but a real blood? I mean I smelled it and it smells like mens- >_

If this is happening to you!! Don’t worry , it’s not that serious and also the problem that causes this: It’s beacuse we haven’t drink water for alotta days.. (It’s confirmed that this is the reason if your poop comes out with a piece of blood) , If it comes out with so much blood then it’s technically a problem.

Now I'm scared

I have a swollen bit on the entrance. I used to bleed before this bit/bump, just not much. I believe it is hemorrhoids but I would like to question how to get rid of it quickly since releasing the kraken has gotten way more painful. And bloody.

Updating: just did the Colonoscopy. Nothing was found! Just a small internal Hemorrhoid. Don’t panic people.

i have bloody stool from past 2 years. The blood falls like big blood droplets and it looks fresh, without the pain. I told my parents when it first happened, they said that it happened because i'm eating a lot of spicy things. I want to say again but I'm so ashamed

@@Maki-ob2gk it stopped, I think it was because of spicy food btw i recently got Typhoid and recovered from it, i have black stool for 3 days. Hope i recover from Typhoid soon.

I hate when the internet says that you are having a serious thing on health

i had severe constipation before and it caused a rectal bleeding. i went to the doctor and yeah it was nothing but just from the rectal pain. but since the last 2 weeks after the pain on my rectal is gone. i always had blood whenever i poop but my rectum is not hurt at all. i’m so scared now. my late grandma had colon cancer and she didn’t survive it. and i even was suspected with leukaemia a few years back.

My brother had red poop and it was from he was allergic to dairy peanuts wallnuts and gluten

ate only like one hotdog and a half (was colored red) and i feel perfectly fine im confused if im gonna be fine or not

I keep thinking i have this but i remember im on my period then But i have had blood on it before i now understand this

I had small wipes of blood for a few months but recently I’ve had diarrhea nonstop. This was because of increase onion consumption (low tolerance for fructan found). However today I had massive blood from my bowel similar to period loads. It scared me and after researching and talking with adults we stumbled upon something else. I have hemorrhoids - outside skin growth on anus - I never mentioned it to adults cause it was embarrassing especially as a teen but reading these comments I’ll be content not to have colon cancer. Will be going to the doctors. I wish I found this out sooner.

@@everyneed3959 Sorry for the late reply i just got this notification. We did some stool, blood, and scans; everything turned out fine showing nothing for cancer. But it did show some sort of stones meaning I need a CT scan. I hadn’t had blood for a few weeks but yesterday I bled a lot (I also tested positive for Covid). As for the hemorrhoids I use ointment and a special salt.

My case is kinda weird because i often exercise like 4x a week and im doing it in the morning without eating my breakfast first though i drink a lot of water while exercising, the weird thing is after i finished my exercise and ate my first meal of the day, i am seeing blood in my stool when nature call but when i am not doing my exercise im not seeing any blood when i poop? Dont feel either any pain in my stomach or something. Relate anyone?

I'm 59 years old I've had bleeding since I was 19, at one point I bleed so much that I had to have a blood transfusion. Hemorrhoids are what causes my bleeding , it's not always Cancer but always have it checked.

Now I need to ask the docter😭

15 here had bleeding for months and abdominal pain these symptoms get easily overlooked when your young.

I mean there is another reason for bleeding If you feel having a hard time pooping then get pain and blood afterwards, then it is not cancer

So last few weeks i have been eating a lot of spicy foods some of them i put even more chilli powder and after that day i was pooping and i pooped bright red liquid idk if it's blood it wasn't really mixed with the poop but it came out in liquid form this has happened to me before everytime i eat alot of spicy food and also when i poop the red liquid it doesn't really hurt can someone tell me the cause of this is it because the huge amount of spicy food i ate or some medical isuuses? I’m 21 and it hurts to poop and sometimes bleed . I don’t went to 3 different doctors and they still haven’t solved my problem . They just say my vitals look normal . Honestly it frustrates me because I’ve had this pain in my stomach and bloating for a year now and it comes and goes away. I don’t even know what direction to take ! I can hardly trust a doctor because it seems like they honestly just want to take money instead of actually getting to the bottom of this pain . I’m worried but ima keep searching what to do .

Well that's means ur poop cut the walls of the intestines if ur pushing too hard

I had one with a little red in it, it burnt a lil but the red kinda scared me cuz knowing i may have cancer freaks me out cuz i didn’t eat nothing spicy. Only for red food like jolly ranchers

I don’t get blood in my stool yet when I wipe, I see blood but it’s like very little. I believe sometimes I have anal fissure. Most of the time I wipe hard and my poop is barely normal and it’s hard so I also believe the hardness of it causes me to bleed a little bit. I don’t worry about it too much because it happens a little bit and most of the time it’s just brown on the paper, but if you have it and it looks like very heavy blood, it could be hemorrhoids or something else so get checked out. Stay healthy yall!!!
