Hey everyone,
In this video, I cut my hair even shorter & go from blonde to brown (nothing extra, just using a box dye). This video is definitely not a tutorial. Cutting short hair can be super complicated, and not as forgiving as cutting long hair (if you make a mistake, you might need to go much shorter than expected).
My hair is not curly ATM (dead from bleaching 6 times) but still has texture and some waves. And I've been cutting my hair since I was 16 (12 years), so I am not unfamiliar with the feeling. If you have silky smooth, straight hair, I'd suggest you go to a professional.
I create these videos to show you what I'm up to, a kinda hair journey. Just for fun. I make mistakes, my technique is questionable at best. So don't come for me. :D
Next is the pixie cut, cannot wait to get rid of all the dead hair.

Uhh, that's a hard one. Do you have naturally black hair, or are you dyeing it black? To lighten black dye is a long and not-so-easy process (not impossible, though). If you want highlights, you could try doing it at home, but if you want a lift all over, I would go to a salon. Reason is, most likely it will come out patchy if you do it yourself, and it will be so damaged that you might have to cut off most of it. Sorry, but speaking from experience here... :D

It looks good. Usually you need to fill in with red and gold tones first before coloring dark brown over bleach.

Hey, thanks! ☺️ I’m aware, but it’s dead hair, I’m planning to cut it all off in a few days so didn’t want to waste time and water on that (I recorded this almost a week ago). I also HATE red undertones. I don’t know why, but it always bothered me so much 😅 I’d rather slap on 3 boxes of the same brown until my hair is completely saturated than fill it with golden or red tones. 🤪 (Luckily, my natural hair color is very close to this dye, light-medium brown, somewhere between chestnut and cocoa shades).
