DIY Super Short Pixie Cut | Getting Rid of It All ✂️👽

Hello,
I am back, but my hair is gone. Finally, I cut off all the super damaged parts. Now, the journey to healthy hair BEGINS!
This is not a tutorial on how to cut your hair. As always, I just wing it, do whatever feels right. Sometimes I have a plan, most times I just have a goal and do a buncha different things to reach it.
The last time I had this cut was in December 2019, so 2,5 years ago. Knowing how much my hair can grow in just a few years, I am looking forward to treating it the best it's ever been treated, and grow long, healthy, curly hair.

I’ve always loved the short pixies cut. I’ve rocked it in the 80s and I’m rocking it again.

To be honest, I really loved your curly hair in any hair color. However, this pixie haircut is outstanding on you and suits very well with your face shape🤙🏻🤩

Thank you 🙃 I love the curly hair too, but it went through too much, was super dry and I just felt like I needed a fresh start. This time around, I will try and grow my hair to be super healthy, and do everything by the book (satin pillow case, hair oils, no heat, no bleach, etc.)! And will document it, of course. 😁

Ange, your hair appears very thick with lots of body. Since I had COVID 9 months ago, and I’m 64 my hair is brittle and so thin. I also swim a few times a week, the chlorine does not help. I bought a pair of wahl trimmers and ‘went for it’. Very much improved condition. Also bought a fedora as thin hair in sunshine caused damage to my scalp. Love your hair, and really suits you shorter. Thank you.

Sometimes, we just need to get rid of the dead weight. I don't think damaged hair can be saved, only cut. No matter the products, hair is already dead cells, and any type of damage will make it even worse. It's great that you are happy with your new look! I think all that matters is that we are comfortable and content with the way we are. 🥰

I tried them when I was younger, but unfortunately couldn't stand them. They're super fun, and I wish I would be able to have one on for more than 1 hour 😅
You should have gone to the hairdresser.
