We got chatting to a local lady but although she has lived there all her life you can not call yourself a local unless you family have lived in the village for at least 300 years 🙏👍😉

Oh I love Father Brown. Love how he leaps on his bike and his cassock flapping in the breeze as he races down the road. Nice to have seen the 'film village set'. What a gorgeous place. Just oozes charm. Thanks for this lovely peek at Blockley. 👏🇳🇱🙋‍♀🇳🇿

It was an eye opener for us as well, not that we watch TV. But every one we met in the village mentioned Father Brown. We are in Oxford this weekend but won’t connect it to Morse 😉👍🙏

Every time we talked to anyone in the village they mentioned the show. So we couldn’t ignore it, but it shows how the Cotswold area is used by the media. We have just got back from Oxford another location for a TV series 😉👍

Lovely photos! Great minds think alike ;-) I just had to do a Blockley Father Brown video too! It is such a picturesque place, and definitely not as busy as so many Cotswold villages. I'm glad that throngs of Father Brown fans haven't ruined it! XX Dara
