I have one on an icord bindoff, it may not help with icord edging along the top, but…… Knitting: I-cord Bind Off kzread.info/dash/bejne/YpeWqdRykqnbo84.html

Why don’t you use blocking wires?

Personal preference, blocking wires are great, and we sell them in the shop- I actually don’t have a lot of practice with them. Once I made up my mind what parts of the bottom edges I wanted to pull and identified the spots, blocking wires would be fantastic, to thread through and have a more consistent shape, but in this case pins on the bottom edge let me play around with what the final look would be. In the case of this shawl, it may have taken more time, when often blocking wires help it take less time overall. Once I am more comfortable with blocking wires, I’ll make a video for that. Everyone has their preferences :)
