Awesome job as always Ollie. I’ve got a “Blocked Drain” myself still. I went through the service port under the house and the drain from underneath the ground and somewhat got it to flow I need a 50-75 foot sewer snake and then I thought I wish I had a Jetter. Sorry for the long post. Have a Blessed One Sir

That scanner he has already feels like it came out of a game.

Here in the States, we don't have as many access points to the drain systems. We typically have a clean out inside the home and the stack vents through the roof. Our waste lines go straight to the mains, without any traps along the way. Of course, living in four climates, our water and sewer lines have to be below the frost line at all points, which is at least a meter below the turf.

There has to be a drain in the middle of all bathrooms, toilets, laundry’s in Australia sometimes it’s just a 50ml drain that goes outside with a flap so no insects come it. Sometimes (most of the time in bathrooms) it’s sewer and it’s call a floor waist gully it’s usually 80-100ml and and the sink, shower and bath plumbing usually run into it. That’s clearly what this bathroom had before but they have done a dodgy Reno

I like that shower floor very cool, as for the Hair an roots yuk but that Camera and locator thing is a must in your job, great piece of kit.

In my experience, very few people clear work areas for tradies. These same able bodied people are then amazed they have to pay me $90 per hour to move their things out of the way and put them back. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A gully isn’t supposed to have a sealed cover like that it’s supposed to just have a grate
