I was inspired to purchase an attachment for my power washer as a "just-in-case". My neighbor called as told me her sink was spewing black gunk....... I have NEVER been more excited to help someone in my life.... I blasted out the 50 years worth of grease and who-knows-what-else. Her drain to the main is now clear, and I owe it all to you good sir!

We hear the term here a lot, but in case anyone doesn't know, an IO is an Inspection Opening.

@@Toobula - yep, I live in Sydney and I thought the same thing! It's not compliant to have an open sewer with a bit of rock covering it.... now days it's got to be "pressure tight" So initially II thought "no wonder there are roots in it!", however then I saw the joints in the pipes, and realised that all the O-rings are perished so it's got roots sealing it rather than rubber LOL.

Unchewed corn gets there 2 ways - 1) Person swallows some of the corn unchewed; 2) Uneaten corn washed down the drain.
