Lots of awareness ready for capturing the customers via other methods due to the familiarity. Probably the best tool out there for getting a new brand in people's minds without necessarily paying for it. Anyway, the creator would not get any money for a skipped ad, since the advertiser doesn't pay.

It doesn't matter if you're the only one logging into it or if you have multiple friends using it as well. People are now defending ads this is terrible. Have you allowed them to collect your data? Sell your data? Earn money from showing annoying shit. When I was a kid my mom told I loved watching ads on television to make me eat. That was when I was less than 2 years old. My quota of watching ads in this lifetime is fulfilled. Never again. Nowadays the apps force you to watch ads when playing games for some stuff I am ok there but when they ask u for the same for no reason that's wrong. It looks like we are puppets and they force us when the puppeteer handling us says I feel alive mocking in the puppet's voice.

quick tip for android users, in the video guide they only populated the top DNS entry with the pi hole, and wiped the second, but for a split second you can see it auto populate with the default 8.8.4.4. This means it won't work as the requests that are blocked by pi hole will then go off to the backup DNS. best to populate both fields with the same address :)

Little bit confused. First, in a techquickie video 6 years ago, you take a stance against AdBlock. In this video, you show us how to set up lan adblock and request that if we use this technique, we should buy some of your merch (presumably to offset the lost revenue from ads). Then, on twitter, you say that adblock == piracy. You also go on to say that buying merch does not offset the lost revenue from blocking ads (ethically). So what is your *actual* stance on adblock? If you support it, why make a video and a tweet saying you're against it? And if you don't, why did you make this video, instructing viewers how to "pirate content" (in your own words)?
