Bass player, educator and luthier Neil Kennedy stopped by with a few examples from his stunning new line of basses soon to be released in conjunction with legendary Australian guitar company - Cole Clark. We discuss a range of bass building topics ranging from fingerboard radius, wood choice (including indigenous Australian woods), neck construction, bridge material etc etc; and we also hear about his bass journey and thoughts on technique and the science of bass building.

I got one of these a few months ago. Worth every dollar
What a wealth of information in that interview. Totally love that bass design......it's clearly so well thought out and designed. This is going to be a real winner for Cole Clark and Neil. Beautiful!
Great looking and sounding basses, nice job.
Great interview again Craig. That fretless sounds gorgeous in the closing jam!
If I didn't know any better I'd say the algorithm is punishing you for some reason because you should have so many more views and followers. I can't think of another bass player (okay, maybe Jon Liebman) who has taken so much time to interview other great players. And John's interviews are only 10+ minutes.
Nice to see Neil in his element! Well done both. Keep it up.
Yay!!! Neil Kennedy: my last teacher [and best]. Great to see a collaboration with Cole Clark. I have Neil's old 6 string Dolphin copy!! Suck on that.
I’m sorry but why didn’t you jam with these bases so we could hear the tone? 😕
