As much as I love Tom, Matt was really just starting to hit his stride with blink. He is such an amazing songwriter and lyricist in his own right. It almost feels like Tom has to fill Matt's shoes now in a roundabout way.

Came back after hearing the news of Tom coming back to Blink 182. Although I’m super stoked he’s back, there’s just something magical/haunting about Matt’s performance in this particular song, that even I think Tom wouldn’t be able to top. Edging is cool, but I have to admit... I've been a fan of blink-182 since 2004, and I have to say I'm really happy with Tom's comeback, tour and new album. But this is one of the best songs I've heard since the self-titled, and at least I hope with this comeback is that they make a song like this, as the change is for the better and not worse. (Sorry for my English, Brazil here)

I think it took two records for people to realize Matt Skiba is a fantastic songwriter in the pop-punk/emo/punk rock genre. Tom himself said that he loves Alkaline Trio and there is a video somewhere on KZread of Tom and Matt Wachter singing to Private Eye back around 2008 or something.

Permanent loop for about 5hrs now. This song stirs emotions.

Now this here is blink-182 imo. This song is so damn good and it really shows how underutilized Matt has been at least to me in both NINE and California. It let Matt shine rather than sounding similar to mark with backup vocals and that "I'm gonna slip away" scream gave me chills. If the rest of the album had this strong feeling and let Matt do more Matt, I think NINE would've been up there with blink's best

To me, Skiba took one of the best tracks on this album, this one in particular. Great chorus, great vocal effort, replay value game strong!

Even though the darkside video was a cringe fest, back when they released the all the small things video coming off of dude ranch people were outraged “YoU wErE sUpPoSeD tO bE a PuNk BaNd?!” And now Enema is known as their best album. Besides they needed something to show they’re still “relevant” to anyone outside their fanbase. Though id say the videos will take a more serious direction now

I'm a fan of both blink-182 and Alkaline trio, and man, this song is one of the best songs performed by Skiba, it makes me angry that the "true fans" of blink despised Skiba, he did an incredible job, and I hope he doesn't take long to release a new Alkaline trio album.

I read this comment weeks ago and I still think about it often. This is arguably one of the best comments I’ve ever seen. It’s so vividly accurate, which makes me so happy, yet so sad at the same time. I suppose that happy-medium feeling is what being a blink fan is all about.

This track is so reminiscent of self titled/crimson.

One of Skiba’s best songs and definitely one of his strongest vocal performances. It really showcases what a great singer and songwriter he really is. Odd move not to keep him on board even with Tom coming back. Oh well, he still kills it with Alkaline Trio.

The outro is fucking chilling. Like I can’t get enough of this song but the outro screams like a ‘Untitled’ track so hard. God dammit this album is incredible.

Travis’s drum progression on this song is insane. His beats are so catchy. And Matt goes so hard in this song. You can hear his passion in the yells. It’s raw. And of course Mark sets the vibes with the bass. ❤️🦁🙏👍

Jaden Coley I read that interview too. He defines “depression” what in reality It is not. I’m a final year Med Student and I’ve already done Psychiatry exam. Mark doesn’t know what real depression is.

After I heard this for the first time I thought, 'Blink has finally found their footing again. They're here to inspire another generation of artists and musicians.' Business is cruel, Skiba. Thank you for everything you've done since 2015! You've helped Mark and Travis during their hard times , even though many fans don't appreciate you. Being a Blink-182 fans doesn't mean i can close my eyes from put respect and appreciation as the first priority. They're seems like Business-182 to me now

personally, i think this is masterpiece song from blink with skiba inside the band, i think songs like this never come with delonge inside the band. Skiba is one of the most iconic personalities in punk rock musics. Wish some day and some how he back to blink. Blink with skiba much better than blink with tom era, with skiba, blink come with new energy, new spirit, new dimensions of musicality.

I divorced after about the same. Then I had a new relationship after that lasted almost a year, but ended a few weeks ago; I feel worse about this one. Praying for you man.

goosebumps!!! For me, personally, this is the best track of the album. It has all the best of Blink182 and Alkaline Trio together in the same song! So, basically, it's the type of song I was hoping to ear since Matt joined the band...love it!

Honestly this song gives me sad yet catchy vibes. I never grew up with blink or any pop punk, but I’m glad Blink is back!

Everytime I played this song in my phone/tv in the night, my daughter always run to me, hug me, and fall asleep in my arms. This song is my daughter's lullaby

I fucking love this fucking song so fucking much. Skiba's vocals are phenomenal. He sings this song like his life depends on it. "I'M GONNA SLIP AWAY!!!" Goosebumps. That's how you know it's a great one. When it's beyond your control. Ironically, this song has nothing but heart. I love the album, I can't get enough of it. But since that very first listen this song stood out. I gotta see it live. I gotta see the tour that accompanies this album. Looking forward to it, guys. You know what else I'd love to hear live? Bottom of the Ocean. 6/8. Those are some killer songs. blink-182, man...kicking all sorts of ass.
