Lyrics:
I don’t really like myself without you
Every song I sing is still about you
Save me from myself the way
you used to
Because I don’t really like myself without you
I really wish I hated you
A little drunk, waiting on your phone call
A little numb, maybe I can’t feel at all
You stitch me up but you can’t stop me bleeding out
I’m better when I’m broken
I love y
ou but I hate you when you’re with someone else
And I want you wrapped around me but I don’t trust myself
I drove by your house but you don’t live there anymore
Won’t you say something, won’t you say something?
I really wish I hated you
The sun is out
I’m
dying in the daytime
I think about the future that we left behind
I drank it all but I can’t shake you from my mind
Now every window’s broken
I can see that you’ve had enough
I can see that you’re giving up on me
I can see that your hands are up
I can see
that you’re giving up on me
I hate the way that you’re better off, better off
I numb the pain but it never stops, never stops
Wish I could say that I’m better off, better off now

that's me with all the stars by k dot and sza, and take on the world by, (i think you me at six or sum shit like that). it goes "just say the word well take on the world" that one. that was me and my high school sweethearts songs. i can't even listen to them anymore, especially all the stars because our first date was watching Black Panther together so i cannot even listen to almost every song on that album which sucks tbh because of how much i love kendrick

it may be impossible because its subconscious, but the only way you can regain enjoyment is to face it and play it again. Like at first I stopped listening to Billy idol's Rebel Yell and Ozzy Osbourne for a long time - but overtime I started to enjoy them as a work of arts again and love them

I heard this on the radio on the way to work earlier for the first time thinking of how this just reminds me of everything im feeling inside. Sometimes the person who fucks up is the one left hurting the most. Just wish there was a way to go back and change things but I guess thats what lifes all about learning and not taking anything for granted.

@@FatSpiderrs Blink have completely ignored their demographic and despite saying they'd bring back the blink we love on the last 2 albums they've become more and more generic each time. Its clear that by experimental they mean doing the easy thing and being generic. I mean the music video for darkside also shows that theyre out of touch with their demographic. Most blink fans are at their youngest late teens now. many blink fans are full adults now yet they make a video with children younger than their own kids, doing fortnite dances. They still write about highschool despite having left decades ago. As much as it had problems its what made neighbourhoods a decent album. It felt like they were actually writing about their current lives instead of constantly drawing back to highschool to appeal to children.

Therapy my guy. Work on yourself. I was with someone 15-19 and I fucked it up, blamed solely myself for it.. she messed up too but no matter what I truly didn't believe she did until recently when she came back into my life and took responsibility too. From 20-25 I tried dating other people but was never fully over it/her so I got tired of hurting and started working on myself & it worked out because I got to move on and forward.. she came back into my life and saw how much I had changed and we're really good now. I'm not saying you should do it in hopes you'll get another chance with the girl I'm saying you should do it for another chance with life/yourself & anyone in the future. Things in life rarely fix themselves without work unfortunately, forward movement my guy.

I don't really like myself without you Every song I sing is still about you Save me from myself the way you used to 'Cause I don't really like myself without you I really wish I hated you A little drunk, waiting on your phone call A little numb, maybe I can't feel at all You stitch me up but you can't stop me bleeding out I'm better when I'm broken I love you, but I hate you when you're with someone else And I want you wrapped around me, but I don't trust myself I drove by your house, but you don't live there anymore 'Cause I don't really like myself without you Every song I sing is still about you Save me from myself the way you used to 'Cause I don't really like myself without you I really wish I hated you right now Won't you say something Won't you say something I really wish I hated you Won't you say something Won't you say something I really wish I hated you The sun is out, I'm dying in the daytime I think about the future that we left behind I drank it all, but I can't shake you from my mind Now every window's broken I love you, but I hate you when you're with someone else And I want you wrapped around me, but I don't trust myself I drove by your house, but you don't live there anymore 'Cause I don't really like myself without you Every song I sing is still about you Save me from myself the way you used to 'Cause I don't really like myself without you I really wish I hated you right now Won't you say something Won't you say something I really wish I hated you Won't you say something Won't you say something I really wish I hated you I can see that you've had enough I can see that you're giving up on me I can see that your hands are up I can see that you're giving up on me I hate the way that you're better off, better off I numb the pain but it never stops, never stops Wish I could say that I'm better off, better off now But I don't really like myself without you Every song I sing is still about you Save me from myself the way you used to 'Cause I don't really like myself without you I really wish I hated you right now Won't you say something Won't you say something I really wish I hated you Won't you say something Won't you say something I really wish I hated you Won't you say something Won't you say something I really wish I hated you Won't you say something Won't you say something I really wish I hated you

Some people don't like hearing artists and bands evolving. I love all of blink's new music. It's very different from their old music, and that's a good thing. I wouldn't like them as much if they kept remaking Enema of the State. They're older, in different spaces mentally, and I'm sure they don't want to keep remaking old songs as well. Even though I miss Tom being in the band, Matt is extremely talented as well. Blink-182 has been one of my favourite bands ever since I got into music and I'm glad that they're growing musically as I grow as a person.

    L. Marquee dude I couldn’t have said it any better. Bands have to evolve along with their own lives. They ain’t 23 anymore (pun intended) lol. They are happy, either ppl like it or don’t. California sounded like old blink, mixed with some new stuff. Amazing summer time album. This album is more experimental and diverse. And it’s also darker, lyric wise and topic wise for each song. People don’t give songs the time of day to sink in. They hear it one time and hate it... I didn’t really like Blame it On My Youth too much, but I kept listening anyway to give it a chance, and now it grew on me & I really like it. Ppl need to simmer down and let it sink in. If u don’t like it, that’s fine, but give it a fighting chance at least.

Devin Biery the only exception to that was this song for me. One listen and I was hooked. Couldn’t stop thinking about it and began playing it over and over to learn the hooks and the lyrics. There’s just something about this song. It’s so clean and crisp. I love it. My favourite song thus far since they cake back with Skiba.

Its definently a lot better than their last album, (did the music world really need another fucking album about california?) THe title alone is enough for me to throw it in the trash, I did give it a listen but it seemed pretty much like shit. WIth my low expectations I bought this album and was quite pleasantly surprised, I wouldn't say its as good a neighborhoods but its pretty close. Neighborhoods has a few pretty crappy songs thrown into a pretty epic album while this whole album is pretty great overall, I dont think the best songs on this album hold up to the best songs on neighborhoods if that makes sense. Some of those songs just had that really trippy vibe, while this is kind of polished and nice and everything. Its different, I like both really.
