I was driving down the freeway. When I decide to change lanes, to my right. In doing so I checked my blind spot to see if there were any cars. Mind you I have a 6in lift. So I go to change lanes and I didn’t see that there was a car that was sitting super low to the ground. I don’t know what type of car it was but it was a low stance car. The driver didn’t see my turning, so I went into his lane and my tires were hitting the side of his car. My tires stick out 1in and half from my truck. I backed off because I heard my tires were hitting something, come to find out it was a car. We both pulled over, we exchanged information and I ended up paying for his damages. It was mostly dent and paint damage.

i needs these in my life! they would be the upgrade that helps not only parking but for crawling. having that little extra to see what i could not see before would be a true game changer for me! love your vids and thank you very much for sharing content that helps so many of us out there, cheers!!!

Would come in handy when I do trails. I busted my first set of 35’s on a trail because I thought I had room and didn’t see a rock on my rear and it flattened me out.

Another nice edition to the truck. I would love them so I will never damage my expensive Toyo tires!

Thanks for this VERY helpful video, Jesse! I just finished installing my new heated SpotterMirrors w/ BSM on my 2019 TRD Off-Road. I found out about them from your videos. They’ve been out of stock for months and I was on their waiting list, so I ordered a pair immediately when they came back in stock. I’m so glad I did! I swapped out the driver’s side mirror first and, man, what a pain to get those clips to release! I broke 3 of the 4 clips pulling that first one out, but only 1 on the passenger side. Also, the first swap turned on the BSM system check light on the dash, indicating what it thought was a sensor issue. So, I turned the BSM button off and installed the next one. Fortunately, after I got the second one installed, I started up the truck, and when I turned the BSM feature back on, the dash check light had cleared itself! Totally stoked 🤩! Now I’m going to go for a drive to check them out! 😎 Tip: Triple up your protective tape for extra protection! Tip: Use appropriate diameter heat shrink and definitely use the wire extensions! It makes install so much easier than struggling with those short OEM wires.

Few months ago I got my first 2019 tacoma and im really proud as I got it on my own. Its not anything fancy, it is an SR with an SR5 trim but it means so much to me to have the truck of my dreams and hopefully slowly one day build it up to a beast. I've never seen these before but they are absolutely amazing and I'd love to get them! 💛

I can honestly say that I didn't do anything to "deserve" to get this product, but I sure would like one! So many times I have my wife hanging out the passenger window, letting me know how close I am to rocks and tree stumps. I really hope you see how I could really use one and not deserve it. I have a 2020 standard Off Road, so it did not come with blind spot sensors. It's also lifted and these would sure help in traffic and off roading!

My spare tire blocks my rear window and I would highly benefit from these because I also have a steel bumper and my blind spot monitors don’t work with the bumper.

I use to have those little circle stick on mirrors for blind spots. But in the sun it would get so hot that they would fall of while I was driving and leave a hard to remove residue. I’d love to win this to not worry about it anymore.

Hi Jesse; It is an incredible mod for your Tacoma, I have one, but I do not have a blind spot, in Mexico Toyota does not offer this safety device, and for that I am going to buy this mirror for my 2016 Tacoma TRD Sport. Thanks for sharing buddy !!!!

After installing new suspension on my tacoma (@Vader_the_taco) I had to put spacers on the wheels. I keep parking in the grass because I’m not use to the change. It’d be super easy to be able to just use the smaller mirror to see when I’m backing into the driveway!

I wish they'd make a version of this for the Rav4 but with the blind spot mirrors located on the upper corners. Mine has BSM but it doesn't work all the time especially at low speed and with bicycles and motorcycles.

Man! Those mirrors are awesome! The spotter option is a great way to avoid hitting curbs or rocks when off roading. Plus super safe when changing lanes. Give you extra angle to cover blind spot! I would love to win the giveaway set!

I think this is a great safety feature to have for vehicles help protect lives and property for everyone thanks for the great content sir.

These will come in handy for when I back up into my parking space . Gets old having to adjust the mirror down every time .

I would love a set as I just put blind spot mirrors on my 2020 TRD Sport but realized that 1) they’re way too big and 2) I put them in the top inner corners of the mirror making it hard to see out of my mirrors now...and of course getting those adhesive blind mirrors off is borderline impossible lol

I've been using adjustable round convex mirror for years but I would have bought those only if the convex mirror part is at top outer corner instead at the bottom. I played around for days for best possible position and top outer edge was best. IMO, that's might be the reason why Ford has factory setup at the top.

I should win because those mirrors are super functional and I need that in my life.

Before my truck was lifted, I actually crub my wheels and everytime I have to park. I find anything other than to parallel park

i could use these for parking in and out of tight spaces. i always try and park near islands in parking lots - these would ensure i don’t hit the curb or any debris left near curb.

Another great video Jessie could have used them on a road trip even though the stock mirrors do a great job but do you feel you need them even more having a camper, but every person with the truck can use them to see lower vehicles driving next to us.

This would be great for towing my trailer. My trailer isn't that wide, and I hate adding the universal extended mirror every time I tow.

Even with BSM, it’s always a good thing to make sure there’s nothing in your blind spot (i.e. a low corvette) lol I hope I win these!
