My name is Jeanie! She is such a sweet little girl! I love the seniors. If I did not have as many as I do, I would snap her up in a second. I know you will care for her until the perfect family comes to adopt her.

This breaks my heart thinking about what this dog has gone through. I'm crying just watching this. How can anyone let this poor animal get in such a state? Heartless and evil is what it is. God bless you HFP for rescuing this precious baby.

Yea there are alot of evil, apathetic people in the world.

Most people would say to just euthanize a dog in that condition. Thank you for choosing life.

Poor little Jeanie. Out there on her own and blind. So happy she is being cared for now and hope she finds a forever home very soon!

This made my heart ache. Two yrs ago, I adopted a 12 yr old blind and deaf dog, who was found homeless and nearly starved. She is now 14, very happy and active and the light of my life. I pray someone adopts this baby. Rest peacefully Jean Marie Barry.

Can't even imagine being totally blind and dealing with rotten teeth to booth. So thankful she was rescued and given a new lease on life. 27 teeth and 2 eyes less, but what a cutie. She was working on the bone! Hopefully someone will open their heart to her and give her remaining time filled with love and cuddles.

I have a 15 plus year old little Border Terrier who is virtually blind due to cataracts. When I consider what I do to keep him comfortable and stress free. Making sure that everything stays in its place in the house, walking him on a long lead in the park so he can wander safely and still feel where I am. And these un thinking heartless b.....ds do that with no regard for that little soul. They forget, one day they will grow old, what goes around, comes around.

I live with 3 senior dogs and two are blind. One gets around well as he's been blind since he was 8 yrs old, he's 15 yrs old. The other is 17 and she's just been blind a couple of yrs. I do hope someone will adopt Jeanie and give her a loving home. Happy trails to you and God bless.

Such a wonderful rescue..so nice to see her clean and pain free.

Really heartbreaking when such a beautiful girl in her older years suffered so much and left to fend for herself in such a state. Who on earth would do this, abandon her in her great time of need and vulnerability? Thank god Eldad's angels rushed to her aid to give her the vital treatment and love she desperately needed.. If anyone recalls anothe blind girl Eldad rescued some years ago, Fiona. She went on to have her sight restored and went to a loving family. I sincerely hope this girl gets to experience the same love for the time she has left on god's green. Thank you Eldad and your wonderful team, yet again for sharing this special rescue with us all.

This is why I donate to HFP , thank you for all you do. I just can't understand why people abandoned animals especially like this blind dog, an angel was watching out for her to survive until she was rescued, God bless the good samaritan's who helped this pup. Heartbreaking. Thank goodness for all involved in the rescue.

I rescued a puppy mill dog who lived in a damp dark building in a cage giving birth to puppies every time she went into heat. When the puppy mill was busted, I took 3 dogs. One, whom I named Pearlie, became blind shortly after I adopted her. She was so smart. She’s in heaven now. I was blessed with 10 precious years with her. I miss her so much. Her ashes are right beside me. I will see her again and she will see me!

Great job Katie and Alex for rescuing poor little Jeanie 🐕 because like all animals they deserve a second chance and in loving memory of Jean Marie Barry may she rest in peace 🙏 🕊️ 😇❤️😍🥰.

My dog had to have the same surgery two years ago, when his eyes were just causing him pain. He left for the rainbow bridge 3 months ago, at the age of 17. Senior dogs need the most love. Thank you for helping her ❤️.

I adopted a cat who'd been deliberately been run over. He had a fractured skull, broken jaw and both his eyes were gone. He's now happy and healthy and you wouldn't know he's blind. I would adopt Jeanie in a heartbeat.

Reminds me of my girl named Baby..... found abandoned at 13 years of age....blind, scared. The sweetest girl I adopted.....we went on road trips, Always cradled in my arms till her last breath....forever loved. This video made me very very emotional. God bless you and Jeanie. Hugs.
