She turned her back to only person who was always there for her and accepted her for her. It actually turned out that after the operation she became even blinder than she was before. My heart is breaking for the Jason.

So, let me get this straight. So he wasn't blind at first, and when she went to the doctors, she wasn't blind anymore. She thought that he lied to her about him not being blind. But, he didn't. When he put that note in her locker saying, "Sorry that things didn't work out. Just take care of my eyes for me" it meant that his eyes need to be taken care of. By who? Not him, her, because she has his eyes now.

And also like I said we don't need our eyes to see you we will rely on our sense of smell we can hear you and smell you like food when something is boiling when Mom is cooking in the kitchen and we're blind all you have to do is just stick your nose where the smell is if it smells good you can taste it when the smell hits your nose you know the food will taste so good and I'm not talking about people most people would say you're talking about people eat others no I'm not talking about people when you're blind and you can smell food who else is close to you if you can't see you can use your ears and your nose to smell who's close to you like your mom or your dad or your brother you never know and no I'm not being sarcastic

I am blind. I clicked this video, and was so disappointed. She was so maan to her mom and to everyone else. That is not how she should've handled things. Blindness is a blessing. It lets you see the world in a different way. I have never had sight, and I don't want it. Being blind gives me the opportunity to show others that disabilities can't top a person from living a happy, meaningful and successful life.

Thanks for pointing that out. The scene is missing that makes clear, that he could see before. Also it shouldn't show the word "laser" on the paper in the doctor's office, but instead "transplantation". The story may have had potential.

To everybody saying that the girl was a bitch for being angry at him, here's what I think happened when she got eyesight she saw Jason and she thought tht he was blind all this time and was lying to her all this time at this point she didn't know that He had given her her his eyes so she ran of and was angry and then when she saw the letter in the locker and read it she realised finally he had given her his eyes and that's why she was shocked and obviously feeling regret from what she did, to clear it up for everybody. I watched this when I was younger and it took me years to grasp the ending and now I can explain it .. When she had the ability to see him she only saw him as a vessel not as the person who’s stood beside her and basically cared for her no matter what but even without his sight he saw her as a whole but with her new found sight she allowed vision to change her complete outlook on him and going so far as leaving him just to find out he made the ultimate sacrifice just to be with her and love her yet she declined his love leaving him completely yet he gave her something so precious to her and that being his eyes not just his eyes but the ability to see hoping she’d be happy but she wasn’t this film taught me you could nurture and heal someone for ever but as soon as they gain from it and see your flaws there quick to leave you broken in the same way they once where.

Exactly. If she understood the experience and had gone through it, wouldn’t she at least still be friends with Jason? It’s like a rich person coming from a poor country. They have gone through the experience, yet are not grateful enough to help the poor.

I knew how this was gonna end, but her reading that note and finding out what he'd done for her made me cry.

I have a uncle who lives in Winnipeg and he is married to a blind woman when I was young I always asked my mom and uncle why she wore shades and had a stick then they told me she's blind I didn't understand at first but as I got older I finally got it in my head and it made sad but happy for both of them.

Even though she is blind SHE CAN STILL HEAR!
