    I really liked the tutorial but i think when you call it beginner tutorial maybe consider showing the shortcuts (like shift + z or whatever) next time. Sometimes it's really hard to follow when you're that fast.

    hey man i just wondered if you know something when i rendered.why the big cube with boole modifire exist?. is there a way to remove the cube so when i rendered the cube doesnt exist? sorry for my bad english

    @@Bagoesardiansyah Find the boolean object (probably named "Cube.001") in the Outliner section. You'll find that the "Boolean Object" or "Cube.001" is a bit transparent. And next to the eye icon, there's a camera button. Simply click the button and boom! The object no longer appears in the render view.

    @@RobertoLongobardi What if you wanted to move the river to somewhere else? Also, isn't the object required for the boolean to actually negate (or differentiate) the cut off area?

    @@IdOnThAvEaUsE69 If you want to move river then yes, you still need the object. For the boolean condition, instead, as soon as you "Apply" the transformation (as described in the video), it actually modifies the terrain object, so you don't need the object anymore. By the way, once you have applied the transformation, you won't be able to move the river anymore, because the terrain is now actually carved with the river.

    As a beginner I’m not sure how anyone got past the part where he starts making trees. He’s clearly hitting shortcuts to scale the faces a certain way and not saying how he is scaling them

    For scaling you can click s key and drag the mouse, left click to end. Similarly click r key and drag the mouse for rotating, left click to end. For modifying the shapes, enable proportional editing from 3D view header. And then move the vertices around with mouse. With lot of practice, it becomes easy.

    I had this problem too, he hits e and then right clicks then hits s to scale it out, had to look elsewhere to find out how this worked!

    For anyone struggling with the tree extrude part, Select the top face, press E on the keyboard then right click your mouse straightaway to cancel (this creates a top face copy), then press S to be able to scale the top face (copy).

    I'm struggling with the campfire part when I add in a circle mesh there are no vertices or anything it's just the outline of a circle

    @@mrmusic3756 after placing your circle you just need to press E to extrude dragging towards the centre of the circle. I will test what I've said to make sure and reply when I have done

    I really wanted to go into low poly work for a bit from the get go but I recommend watching the 1st 2 parts of blender gurus donut tutorial because he goes over the hot keys that are mentioned in this video. After that you should be good to finish the video, just take notes on the 2 parts, you don’t have to do much else.

    For anyone that has used Blender, they know this is lowest quality of work imaginable (almost) ... and THAT'S what makes Blender and this video so powerful. Videos like these lower the threshold for aspiring 3D artists and are as valuable as BlenderGuru's donut.

    This is NOT beginner! I am a beginner and just starting and... you are SO fast! You don't explain anything, you don't go into any information, you jump all around, and also, there are steps missing even in the first 58secs! We can tell you are great at this stuff - but - seriously if you want to advertise it as beginner, remember beginners don't even know where things are!

    Great tutorial!! One thing though... for the slight variation in colours between the trees or rocks... why don't you try random colour? That way you won't have to create a new material every time!!

    He might wanted to keep it simple. But i have seen tutorials which use random shades of green for lowpoly trees and such. Its awesome and i recommend it... But maybe, its easier for the beginning not to mess around too much with shaders(we had a little trouble with the water anyway)
