Those caps have also been used for STREAKING long hair,most often on females.The long hair is pulled through the holes on the cap with a crochet hook and then bleach is applied to the crochet hook separated strands of hair.After those strands of hair are lightened the bleach is washed out and the hair is dried and VOILA!: STREAKS! :
