Pacific Alaska Range Complex (PARC) R2205 east of Eielson AFB, AK (SSE of Fairbanks) Range 2205 is east of Eielson. This is going into Stuart Creek Live training area. Either that or R2202 South of Eielson near Ft Greely in the Delta River area. Hmmm?

The canyon run looks so much slower then it did in top gun 😉…. Keep up the excellent content, I love the raw footage

It also was really a narrow canyon in Top Gun. Not like huge valley, where the sense of speed is not that visible. Also....movie. :-D

A friend has a lake cabin east of Seattle that is right under a low level military training rout. He was on his jet ski one day and the engine suddenly started screaming and he though it was about to let go so he jumped off into the water. Only to have two FA-18's rip overhead at low level. Bahahah!

You fighter pilots can get the ladies🤣 I rented some farmland from a good neighbor that flew fighters of a carrier in ww2 then got called back for Korea. He never married but when I went to his funeral in 2011 I was looking at his photos by his casket and there was 3 little old ladies there. They said "did you know Al" I said he was a good neighbor. They said they went to school with Al and they all had a crush on him🤣🤣 My dad cousin got shot down over Vietnam in an F4 doing reconnaissance, never recovered him or his sidekick and plane.

Back in the day we called them RIO'S.

I was the Fitness Director onboard NAS Whiting field. It's the primary flight training base most pilots go through, many pilots eventually end up back as instructors. I did a lot of fitness programs specialized for pilots, it was really surprising how many shoulder and neck injuries pilots get. "Just Wing It"
