    Very interesting. I've always loved the blimp sequences. It rained during my first night on holiday in Tokyo (Shinjuku) and it WAS the LA of Bladerunner. I was looking up just in case.

    Every time I watch this, it reminds me that Doug Trumbull displays a level of integrity which is rarely seen in an industry full of self-aggrandizing egomaniacs. A remarkable man.

    Most of the people in the U.S. film industry are charlatans. People, like Mr. Trumbull, are very rare. He's all the more special for it!

    They still do. Take Ian Hubert as an example. He shoots everything and does all effects in a very improv way, going "Ok this might work" repeatedly.

    Yeah because cgi doesn't involve artists, or hard work or talented people. You have no idea how hard these people work, people can't seem to move on
