I wonder if people come back to this video once in a while and wish they lived in a cyberpunk,bladerunner city like this..true masterpiece of a video❤

More Cyberpunk than 2077. This is unreal. Very nice photography.

I've been coming back to this video over and over again for like 5 years now. It stuns me.

5:49 my heart skipped a beat at that part. The view of the huge skyscrapers and all of the light. Straight up like cyberpunk 2077. I love it so much. I will definitely visit chongqing one day. Im still very young.

I swear videos like this are like an out-of-body experience.

I live in Chongqing, and this is the best video that I have ever seen about my city. Love it

I've been there in 2006. First thing I thought: "I'm in Blade Runner". It was just lacking the flying cars. The video is very well shot.

Excellent, absolutely excellent ! Chongqing is absolutely cyberpunkt, but China in general has this cyberpunk feel, other cities also like Shanghai, Shenzhenn and so on. Nice choice of soundtrack also, Blade Runner 2049 fits nicely!

Not that intensive. Chongqing looks so largely because it's a city on built on hills and mountains. I have been to Chongqing for twice in recent years and am not quite interested in the buildings. I love that city because of the people and food. They are truly amazing!

China has many megalopolis but doesn't tell the world to see!What a glamorous and splendid City!

That is a super cool video! The timings of some of these shots are amazing. For example at 7:48 when we're zooming out from all the people walking and the subway passes. Really pretty. Also not showing the ground very often is a sweet trick. Makes you feel extra disoriented between the builings. Well done!

Bloody hell..it's like blade runner in real life

Chongqing is built above air raid shelters as well. Up until today you can find these shelters. There's even a mall that was once an air raid shelter. Daytime Chongqing looks even more cyberpunk with the air railways.

I was like hypnotized for every second of this video, astonishing!

Hope I’ll get to experience this city irl some day... this cyber futuristic style is definitely one of my favourite aesthetics 🔥 And the cinematography in this video is out of this world!

@@thisisanevilcorp992 yeah，there actually have lots of things in cyberpunk style，like:Light rail travels between buildings which people can sit in it，the projector can be seen on the street to project the video on the wall or building，alley shops are decorated with neon signboards，and so on.When it rains, the whole city is foggy, and the light rays pass through the fog，Beautiful, quiet and technological.

EMMAudio whole China was confused that why westerners don’t know chongqing at all ? It’s coolest place in china . Even more popular among in young Chinese tourist than shanghai or honghong. Whole city just looks like a massive Instagram destinations . modern . Old . High rise . Wet . Colourful and punk . Too much words and lots of styles mixed together .

LiamC22 nice, I’m hoping to when I graduate in a few months. Do you have any recommendations for websites with housing or jobs in chongqing? I found various jobs but they were much rarer for chongqing on those sites, never could find a website that had apartments for rent there

@@Unclejamsarmy I work for a company called career China. First leap specifically. Teaching English. In this field there's plenty of jobs all over China but you need a tefl certification. They help me with accom etc when I get there.

Fantastic job, I'm watched 7 times and I still did not get bored :D

i went to chongqing last year, the first impression is WTF ! this is the city of cyberpunk ! this video its only shows the modern building but doesnt show you the slums (by slum i mean old building) stand in the slum and look up in the red sky, its really feels like in a cyberpunk city.......i took a lot of pictures and stay there for half month. damn COOL !

i mean, it's mostly LED lighting that adds to the effect, but in the day-time this city looks pretty boring. Not to mention the incredibly amount of light pollution it creates, you'd need thick curtains if you wanna get a decent night sleep!

People always poopoo cities, but I love living in cities. I lived in Tokyo as a boy and then later in Seoul as a teenager, and it was just a magical atmosphere. Rural areas and countryside areas are just boring compared to civilization, populace, and awe-inspiring structures everywhere you go!

windseekervideo well that is not low life, people live properly in apartments, the real "low life" is some places in Hong-Kong, which is where the ideas of cyberpunk it self came from, crowded living space of this island city inspired artists of create cyberpunk.

been to chongqing with my class once when I was in college. it's a big city but actually it's not as awesome as it looks in this video(which only show you cool places). people here appears to have a life of ease though

the music really matchs the viedo. big fan of blade runner. hope someday can walk in the street of chongqing with such music
