@@habie147 you have to hit a guy with a blade in one of their limbs. Sp the shoulders, elbows, legs, knees, feet, or head. Also you can turn the gore chance up in settings.

@@habie147 Yeah it’s kind of challenging to get used to amputation and mechanics like that in B&S. Like you stated in the video, it’s still in early access. Doing certain things create weird bugs and glitches making it hard to cut limbs off sometimes.

The "not a shield" is a buckler. They were very popular, historically. Particularly in rapier duels during the renaissance but also throughout the medieval period. The larger shields commonly seen in games and movies were only really used on the battlefield in times of war. They were good but far too big and bulky to carry around in your day to day life. That's where the buckler came in. Small and light enough to store on your belt but surprisingly effective, they were the defensive item of choice for civilians of any social class.

@@Laughing_Dragon Being realistic. Shields were not only a defense iten but a social status during medieval time. Knights and nobles WERE expected to carry their long shields. Then I tackled the guy with a question refering another use of big shields, the celts and goidels with their H shaped shields. If disencoraging someone to spit half-truths is being a prick, then, I'm being one, you can tell now.

@@JoeKurr5 It'S not far enough away from reality for me. The people who attack you don't have any emotions, but they still look you in your face when you stab them and they react to what you do. From a first-person perspective with your hands almost directly grabbing everything you touch in-game, that is too close to not feel anything for me.

Especially with the realistic decap and blood physics mod. Also the bone cracking mod makes blunt weapons also really satisfying. Sometimes it looks weird when the head or limbs twists too much like it's unrealistic but still worth the download

I bought the game last week and found out that there is actually a climbing mechanic. Not just for ladders, but on Citadel. There are some stones that poke out of walls that you can use to climb. And the feet actually are implemented into the climbing.

Awesome work! Keep it up. Watched atleast 5 of your videos so far, has been a treat and your edits are well done. You will pass 10k and beyond. You got the skills, personality, spirit and a bit of luck for it. ~Alenzi

I've been playing this game for almost 8 months now and I must say its such a fun experience (I swear I'm not a psychopath) when you play endless horde modes with lightsabers it becomes such a workout, both physically and mentally as it is honing reaction time. Having to have a good offence and defense also builds problem solving and strategy, "do I kill this dude before 3 more hordes me, Or do I focus on blocking the attacks and wait for an opening to safely dispatch the enemies without taking damage." There is more layers to the more challenging part of this game than just "hehe sword go slice" and I think thats what I love so much about it.

I feel ya. This is why I love VR so much. I always liked martial arts, and pretending to fight imaginary enemies...and dance, and all kinds of movement...now you can actually do it in games, with your real body. Great workout and test of your reflexes. On a Saturday, I'll just do Beat Saber, Pistol Whip, Blade & Sorcery, Dance Central... Ends up being 4+ hours of intense cardio. I've always kept in shape, but I've never gotten this much cardio this consistently as I have since I got my Quest 2, and it feels amazing.

Now this is what the youth call "Pog"

There's a game on Steam called The Wizards: Dark Times that REALLY nails the feel of magic in VR. It's the sequel to another game simply called The Wizards, which I haven't personally played, so that one might be even better for all I know. Either way, they are absolutely worth giving a try if you haven't yet!

I don’t know who you are, or why I am here, but your voice tells me enough about the effort you put into your videos, you’ve gotten yourself a sub.

The algorithm loves you. Five of your videos showed up in my recommended in the last two days, and I’m very glad I clicked on your Skyrim VR video.

I have spent countless ours playing this game, and by far my favorite experience i've had is fighting with just my hands and sheilds. Something about beating the shit out of people with blunt weapons or slamming their head against a wall just entertains me for hours... hundreds of hours. I highly recommend the no 'blades' and no 'sorcery' route.

How can you have such a "small" channel, but put out so baller content?

I have seen now 3 of your vids in the past 2 days haha, I gotta say your self awareness and jokes like "I just said different way too many times" are perfect and add so much! When looking at star wars stuff: almost everything is a real thing. It might not be accepted in canon (mostly decided by disney), but if you dont know what it is, its probably still real in legends (everything outside of canon)

This game made me realize how much of a sadist I am. Big recommendation, lit an axe of fire and scraped the face off peasants. Also became a Sith. 10/10 You got a new sub.

Your channel is great quality, and one of the few VR channels that are funny, good quality, and upload fairly often. Now that more of us are getting VR and getting into VR your channel is one of the best VR content channels I've found.

Multiplayer and open world are things he hopes to come in the future. Sometime this year randomly generated dungeons will come with better ai, weapon levels and a skill tree which sounds pretty fun.

I am going to receive an Oculus Quest 2 tomorrow in the mail & made a big list of games I wanna check out. But I asked a friend what she recommends & this game I didn't even notice on any lists online but damn! I was impressed by the still images because YAY you got a full arm!!!! But after watching your video GOD DAMN! This is amazing! Like the actions you can do are a little extreme I will admit... We will see how I feel about that extra level of realism but...
