Blade and Sorcery has a RuneScape VR Mod

Ойындар

Blade and Sorcery and RuneScape seems a funny mix. But this Runescape VR mode for Blade & Sorcery is fantastic. One of the best VR mods of all time. The Runescape nostalgia is overwhelming in VR. gamersupps.gg/Habie if you want to help get our own flavor. Still going strong btw but wanted to spare everyone for a week of me saying it.

The assets are actually recreated from scratch. OSRS is built on a sort of grid so spacing is super easy. Playing RS on 1 screen and modeling in Blender on the other. The devs also released full heightmap data of the entire RS world publicly so there's easy terrain. (I only worked on Lumbridge, so I could be wrong about the other locations)

I was working on a RS VR project of my own but became too busy to finish it so I gave some of the assets to CMVR after finding his work on KZread just to get some use out of them. Everything I made was 100% from scratch on my end, I'm not smart enough to rip assets from runescape. If anyone wants to get into 3D modeling start a project you are passionate about, it's the best way to learn. Watch KZread tutorials and keep improving your model. You learn best when you WANT it. The key is to have fun, dont let it be a chore.

7:15 killed me lmao. Thanks for shouting out the video man, I appreciate it :) This mod was one of the only VR experiences that made me want to just sit down and think about how far gaming has come from my childhood of burning shrimps on a campfire. Runescape is probably the first game I ever played as a kid, seeing it through my own eyes was enough to make me forget that it is essentially just ROBLOX-chic with chiptune music. 10/10 experience. I'd love to game with ya again sometime!

Hey! Thank you both for covering the VRscape mods! I'm not sure if either of you know, but the maps and weapons are only scratching the surface of what me and the guys have been working on over the last few years. Essentially, we have the entirety of the f2p area remodelled from the ground up for VR, a skilling and leveling system, and more NPC's in the works as well. We also have plans to introduce questing to B&S, custom enemy drops, and make use of the new roaming and custom NPC features - we're hoping for a release this year, so keep an eye out for some big news! All the best, CMVR (Project founder and lead artist)

And especially at 6:34 that part was just so truly heart touching words can not describe the series of emotions I felt. I absolutely loved the climax it had insanely excellent detail. Oh and we can’t forget the conclusion. The conclusion was the greatest and saddest conclusion I have ever seen better than any of the books I have read. Thank you so much for creating this absolute masterpiece. This is essentially the most important masterpiece of film history. It is a tragedy that this, it can’t be called a film, but a transcendent emotional experience, will be inaccessible for most. It beautifully encapsulates the human struggle to its basics; suffering, pleasure, faith, despair. It connects with the characters within the viewers, individuals suppressed within our own subconscious. It stays vibrant, fresh, and revolutionizes the art of storytelling and filmmaking while making a damn of statement on what it means to be human. Entertaining, gripping, and simply exhilarating. This might be the most impactful piece of art I’ve come across in my life, and I’m definitely coming back to it in the near future to study it more deeply. this is an absolute masterpiece , I was brought to tears listening to this and seeing the bacon go whirly swirly in a circle countless times. it absolutely moved my soul , and I don't think I can ever be the same. this bacon has changed my entire mental state , I am now at peace with who I am and what I will be doing later in my life. i have forgiven all my enemies and now I am a man of a pacifist life. Especially when the bacon spins, showing its lightly salt covered tan skin. I can hear the crunch just from here, and so as the beautiful sound of the bacon scraping the dark, smooth velvet floor. The flavor, music and everything can be heard, tasted, seen and felt from a screen. You can really hear the breaths between the music artist, empathizing her love for this rotating bacon. The spinning bacon, rotating in one direction with this music... This made me tear up. How could such a bacon do such a thing? I'm struck by awe by this masterpiece. Truly what I call modern art. This was the most legendary performance by any bacon I have ever watched. The acting was top tier and very life changing. This is one of the greatest work from a piece of bacon I have ever seen especially on 57:42. I am crying. This has made me go through an emotional rollercoaster. I cried, beat off, and also watched a movie while watching this premiere. This has made me go through so much. I passed depression because of this. It really inspired me to become an outstanding young man. Thank you.

The egg juggling with the steel axe was impressive. I've been playing RuneScape on a privately run server called 2009scape. You can set higher xp multipliers so you're not grinding months to get decent levels and no paying membership fees for member content.

The three things I remember about RuneScape; being a Mage was damn near impossible in the beginning, the melee attack consisted of a single overhead chop, And being able to only finish half a quest before my teacher noticed I wasn’t doing my school work

I never played Runescape back in the day, but I know the exact feeling of nostalgia and excitement of seeing a game that is pure nostalgia/a core memory in VR. The Skyrim wagonride in VR was something incredible the first time for me. crazy that game is almost 12 years old now.

Why have I only just seen this? I don't know how to describe the feeling it gives me, a sensation in the chest, of completeness, yet longing nostalgia all the same. and now I want to play runescape for 30 hours straight like a kid again. What have you done to me, habie?

I'm getting pretty close to maxing in osrs so this video was so crazy to watch. I've spent well over 5k hours on my osrs account and probably another 5k on my og account that's stuck in rs3 hell because reasons. Runescape is one of those timeless games that just gives lets you relax while you accomplish things. I really love that these kinds of videos are possible because there's some dedicated players out there who share the fun of runescape through other means. Thanks for making this video, I'm gonna download it and immerse myself in some runescape music and messing with NPCs
