While the other benders of the rock believed in such a rigid control to bend the Earth however the Shoeless, with such a connection to the Earth, believed in a flow only unlock-able via an ancient, forgotten, dangerous and hated technique ‘flick’. He mastered it, learnt that the Earth is not a rigid weapon it is the flow of the world, ever moving, ever spinning… and that is what he realised he must do. He had to spin the world’s representation of flick on it’s head. He had become the one who flew with the Earth. He was water, flexible and cutting through even the strongest of the sturdy however he had the heart of the Earth, his rigidity became a stubbornness to prove to this world the use of his signature technique. He is Water yet he is the Earth, he is the spirit of the flick, formless and stubborn yet an inspiring icon. His movements, his skill, his technique forced all to adapt or stick to the ways of the rigid and fail. He forced inspiration, adaption and experimentation via his technique, his skill and his form.

  • @TheStarMachine2000

I can tell you don't own a VR! Usually they are called headsets . . . Believe me, I started in the same place. If you want to get into the hobby, the Oculus Quest 2 is a great starting point since the three is more expensive and more on the, "being built for" side of development. Rumble is played on PC though, which means an Valve Index or some other PC headset along with a chonky(ish)PC. (Side note, you can use an Oculus for PC games, they just tend to be more finicky) Beat Saber is perfect for just getting started and remember to take it slow. VR motion sickness is quite common and the best way to get over it is just exposure. (Another side note, standard motion sickness is when you feel motion you can't see, and VR motion sickness is when you can see motion you can't feel. Adjust accordingly.) Beat Saber is perfect to start with since all motion is you ducking and side stepping and such, the actions are all intuitive since swinging swords around is pretty universal, and they have music for anyone! Big Screens is fun for chilling and hanging out with people since you can just watch movies and such. Similar deal with KZread, but grab a spinning chair if you want to watch the 360° videos. Once you get your sea legs under you, VR Chat is a decent next step considering the diversity of the worlds, but it is hot or miss . . . Into the Radius is a great title that leans HARD into atmospheric terror. Pavlov/Pavlov Shack is a good intro to VR shooters. Movement is good as well, but I would recommend getting used to walking using the controllers first. Once you have the basics nailed down, the world is your oyster!

I rewatched Gurren Lagann recently and I love how this video exemplifies in a real life* scenario the whole point of the anime. You went and did the impossible, even with everyone doubting you could ever do it, even after all the hardship and pain you had to go through, you achieved the potential only you saw, and then made sure that everyone else knew of that potential as well, turning something that would be considered insane in the past into something that is now considered simply as part of the game. Congratulations!

@@shoeless_manI really recommend it, it's one of my favorites and you sound like the type of person who would enjoy it! One thing I feel should be noted, in case you have an issue with it is that there's a fair bit of fanservice around the first quarter of the show. But even if you dislike fanservice, I'd say it's worth it to watch to the end!

shoeless, I just want to say that you are the sole reason I even picked up this game. I first watched other youtubers say that it felt clunky and overall bad, but then I saw your video discussing emergent gameplay. not only did it inspire me to get good, but it inspired me to play the whole game without runestones. I've stopped training as much because I kept getting destroyed by people using flight moves that were only possible because of the double jump stone. I thought it was over for my no rune stones account, but with my eyes being opened to heartline roll not only did it reawaken my no runes run, but that moment alone will make me a follower of flick.

The editing, the voiceover, the way things are explained has made it all accessible for someone who has never touched the game, but after 57 minutes, I want to start playing. You may have created a new rumble player and if not, a rumble enthusiast. You deserve your quickly growing fanbase, much love my guy, keep casting your crazy rock spells ❤️❤️❤️

You nailed it, man! you were the one the game was waiting for, Avatar candidate that literally invented a skill tree and breathed life in Rumble using one mechanic all by yourself ( i mean YT channelwise). I hooked on previous videos but never really came to appreciate them since it all were based on raw concepts and showcasing of what future of VR can bring us magicbendingwise. This entire video is a fresh breeze that winded up some unknown game on rarely used headsets to rise from some mid-level game to a great and fresh indi game project the way it was intended to be

Doubt this'll be seen, but I really must compliment your skills. I don't know your Background, but im assuming it's in filmmaking or something along the line. Beyond just being a good KZread video, the way you have me feeling during this video only rarely happens even during some of my favorite shows and movies. I know this must seem like exaggeration, but I really do think that you have legitimate talent for this. Filmmaking I mean, not just rumble, not even just 'KZread' though I mean absolutely no shame on great youtubers. I can't wait to see your future projects, and wish you only the best in all your endeavours. Only love from me!

I do like the main concept of the video. Sometimes some things obviously aren't going to work. But maybe you won't be able to have a net positive until you master it, which makes going through the process of mastering it seem pointless. But it's not... Oh by the way, fantastic video mate. Genuinely super well-made and I can tell you put a TON of work into it. Well edited, paced, a ton of it was super cinematic, and good plot/narration. Thanks for getting me into this game :) Side note: are you Christian, or was the Bible study notes thing completely a joke?
