Great video Paul, yep and these people that drop the litter go home and call Blackpool a dump. Street cleaners always do a great job. Saw one fella last week up near Sainsbury's drop a can on the floor When there was a bin 2 yards away. Cheers mate.

Hi Paul as I say it's busy in Blackpool always something happens in Blackpool hope north pier party went well everyone behaved themselves a lot rubbish about why can't people put there rubbish in the bins I always come to Blackpool midweek I haven't at the weekend for ages great seeing Blackpool busy busy coming up in June Blackpool pride is great and veterans week and in July would matchplay darts at winter gardens and in August air show and punk rock festival at winter gardens I'll down in September really enjoy your videos Paul thanks the Blackpool lads from Keith

This event was named "Pier On The Pier" and is put on by "Bounce Till I Die" - I believe this is held every year now and has been for quite a few years. Such a shame that the minority have to ruin it for the rest. It is also a 2 day event. Saturday & Sunday.

What type of party was it ? If blackpool wants to get a better reputation dont host these events, host more up market events, north pier has some lovely victorian features, and after a pain job on the seating etc would be great to host a big afternoon tea out on the deck, or dinner dance in the evening something different, style and elegance 😊

Blackpool been once that was enough. Rained all day a Jrt had to dich nr the North Pier someone forgot to book the hotel.5hr drive home so o and the pot holes.

My first ever visit / holiday to Blackpool was 1974 when I was 5 - Loved the place, when I was 19 I moved to Blackpool from Glasgow, worked in the Town and still loved the place, moved back to Glasgow after about 5 or 6 months, still had many many weekends breaks to the place often visiting 2 or 3 times per year. I've not been back since September 2018 - pains me even saying it BUT it's just a rundown toilet now, the Council TBF do try and I really hope the Town can improve and I could justify a return visit before my time on this planet ends, it's just changed so much over the years and not for the better, sure it will always get it's visitors be that at certain times, but how many people can now afford a weeks holiday or a fortnight stay ? Is it even a holiday now or just a daytrip thing ? All three of those Piers are a mess, they've been in need of upgrading for years, all the back streets or side streets are also a mess, years ago you'd never see a single empty void shop, even all the indoor markets were packed on a daily basis, again I really hope it can improve but just feel it's too far gone now, and that is a great shame what with all the memories and attachment that some of us will have. Why can't people put litter in the bin ? plenty of them around.

Hi Gary, and my thoughts are the same as yours, as you so rightly said the Council do try but they need to sort the streets out from the Prom itself, yes the Prom looks great and they are doing a lot of development which is ongoing, but like many people theirs more to Blackpool than just the Prom. The Piers are looking tired, however, they have been working on the North Pier recently replacing a lot off the boards etc, so hopefully in time that will be brought back to its former Glory! I am sorry you feel that way, hopefully when/if you return you will see an improvement and not just the Prom side. A few trees and things wouldn't go a miss on the front also, lots off man made structures where by if they added a little nature I believe it would make it look more inviting to, just my thoughts that. Again many thanks for your honest comment and hope Blackpool will turn around and be the once great place it was, although with cheap package holidays it has killed sea sides resorts like Blackpool.. I agree Scott, the Council do a great job, but you can see people still disrespect the area, I.e all the rubbish (cans on the elephant etc) but the Council do a fantastic job at cleaning the area up so I am not questioning that at all, nothing but praise to them. and yes Blackpool can get windy as you mentioned also. all the best.
